the last couple of days???? That contest and all the ensuing grovelling at the feet of that agency was repugnant and WAY OVERBLOWN. I hope the new year brings us MUCH less of that kind of garbage. Did anyone sincerely think the guy doing all the shilling WASN'T going to win the "contest". PLEASE!! I feel this is a very legitimate topic that should be discussed!!
The last few days on the board have been a little disappointing. While I'm very very happy for the winner and NYConf, I just hope they CONSOLIDATE all the submissions to one SINGLE thread next time.

Let's just do our best to give accurate reports on the good things in this town, why worry about hte rest (other than straight-up problem reports or fair negative reviews when someone is genuinely unsatisfactory).
the offending posts only dominated the boards for about a week. Yes, NYConfi and Belle have their shills, but usually it's buried among many other posts. It is the dearth of other posts which caused the shills to become offensive.
The problem with shills for NYConfi and BDJ is that they encourage other compensated hobbyists to recommend other agencies so that the message board becomes a shill fest.
