When I saw your post I hopped over to the GD board and was quite surprised to see all the discussion on Shauna's BDJ.  Personally I find it quite perplexing how anyone could doubt Shauna's veracity.  She (along with Valerie for those of you that remember) were really some of the first to use the internet in this hobby on LI years ago.  She established an incredible reputation at the time by bringing a service to an area where we all cna admit that there is a very limited selection.  I for one was incredibly disappointed to see her move to Florida.

I find it hard to believe that Shauna would do anything to deliberately sully her reputation in her home town.  My only guess is that the majority of the posters on the GD board were not around for Shauna's LI hayday and are not aware of her impeccable reputation.

In anycase, that's what these board are for and I don't see any outright slams or flames.  So some discussions and investigations are certainly a healthy thing.  I'm sure they will see soon enough what many of us have already discovered.  Shauna and anyone that she chooses to work with are for real.

I've had the pleasure of several meetings with Shauna and I've heard about her from many others in the business. They all concur (as do I) that she is a top-notch person, provider, entrepreneur...
Just seems that some people don't like her honesty - that's all!
But at $4.00 / lb I still think it's a great bargain!!!

Shauna is a top provider, a great business woman, and a very dear friend. She also happens to be one of the top 3 on TBDs list. She did not get there by posting false reviews. The person who posted on the discussion board, questioned a few of her reviewers. Shauna is the last person who has to toot her own horn. As for her rates, considering her creditials and her competition, she's quite reasonable.

Not one negative thought has been posted about Shauna in all the discussions going on on the General Board, that I have seen.  In fact, anything said about her has been not good, but excellent.  The questioning that's going on is with respect to the Belle du Jour girls who all have only one review.  In some cases that one reviewer has only that one review, or only reviews of BDJ girls, and makes them suspect that these reviews come from a "ringer", rather than a legit poster.  

The guy who started that thread spent considerable time and effort to show that in fact, these one time posters were in fact legitimate, and to a degree he suceeded.  His intent was in no way to malign any provider, least of all Shauna.  Rather, it was used in an effort to legitimize BDJ.  He isn't out to crucify anyone.  I was used in some of his research for review comparison because I have many reviews of New York providers.  He showed that one of the posters for other BDJ girls actually reviewed 2 providers I reviewed and we substantially agreed on looks, performance, etc. and therefore helped to legitimize him.  I have never seen a BDJ provider.

I wouldn't call that a slur on anyone, but rather an attempt to make sure that TER data is accurate, which is what everyone wants.  
He did this study because some posters were questioning certain agencies that were posting pictures that were not of their own providers.  You gotta look at the big picture.
