I am curious how some of the providers might feel about this.  I have a favorite brand of condon, (no not Magnum) and I usually bring some with me to an appointment.  Recently I was told I couldn't use the condoms I brougt, and had to use the providrs brand.  Is it bad form to bring my own condoms?  What would be the harm of using my brand?

Any ideas?

But if you mention it to your "date", I am sure it would be no problem for her to pick up them at the local drug store. I know I wouldn't mind. (as long as they are a reputable brand).

This precauction is for your safety as much as hers..
I am sure you would agree:)

Its not personal...just good business sense!

I had one or 2 girls inspect the package, but never had any girls deny me bringing my own brand to a session and using them.

Some providers (not myself) may also have issues such as a latex allergy, or a sensitivity to some kind of lubricant, flavored condoms etc. A provider friend of mine is allergic to latex and for that reason she insists on always bringing her own.

It's not too paranoid to think that a client might have tampered with a condom.  I have heard horror stories of guys poking pinholes in them, so that they break and end up doing BBFS with providers.

It's rare, but it does happen.

After you have made a date, mention your desire. That way it's not a surprise.

No, I've sometimes had the provider insist, and I fully understand it - as mentioned, they are entitled to feel confident that no tampering has occurred.
I suppose if one wants to try it would be smart to bring them in the unopened box.
