Does anyone know if Astrid is all right?  I had an experience yesterday I've never had before, and am a bit worried: I was scheduled to see Astrid for the first time.  She had previously written to me that she would e-mail the hotel name and room number to me the night before our date.  I didn't get the e-mail, so I e-mailed her to confirm we were still on for yesterday.  I never got a response.  I thought maybe there's a problem with her e-mail, so I texted her the morning of our date to confirm.  No response.  Hmmmm.  Thought about bagging it, but I didn't want to be a "no call/no show," so I went to the general location of her hotel (which she had previously sent me) and texted her that I was at the location and that she should send me the specific location of the hotel and the room number.  No response.  Still have not heard a word from her.  Seems very odd, and was just a little concerned . . . .

I thought it might be an e-mail problem.  But that's why I texted and called her.  Still doesn't make any sense.  Seems troubling.

And adding that you're generally concerned is human and cool.

Relax, god fobid something happened to her

Gmail was down.  That is a reasonable explanation.  Sometimes stuff just happens.  She posted on twitter last night, so it is pretty reasonable to assume that she is ok.
