How do you do it girl? Just trying to get my feet wet here

I get that I'm new to the business. So I understand and expect to have some sort of setback when it comes to finding business. But I've been here since Tuesday morning and only had the pleasure of meeting 2 gentlemen. My screening isn't TOO tough. Is this area just generally slow like this all the time? Doesn't really make me feel like a return visit would be good I know that's for sure lol. Any helpful advice from more experienced girls would really be appreciated

NYC is by far my favorite touring city
Especially if you're new you shouldn't have any problems as they love the new unicorns.
The location can affect your business if you're too far out.
I'm super central so it's easy for the gentleman to come for lunch in and out and go back to work glowing.

Then 5-8pm os always in high demand.

I wish you good luck.

slow. Not in my experience atleast. I'm guessing it's because you only have 1 review. Once you get more, men will flock to you! :)

1) as someone already stated, you have one review so many guys will be hesitant at first.

2) I only see one ad as well, which isn't uncommon for being new but you have just began your ad/marketing campaign and it takes time

3) the only link on your profile is your web address, which again is fine at this point but adding a verification site like p411 will give the guys more confidence to see you

Your pics look hot, your price is very good so those aren't the issues. It does take some time at the beginning to get established but if you get 2-3 more good reviews, you wont believe the difference in the number of contacts/dates.

It would take a bit of time to establish yourself as a reliable and trustworthy provider. We all been there :)

Market yourself, where do you advertise? Eros, P411? TER? Twitter?
google search based on services you provide and start from there.

It may take a little bit while you get more reviews and people trust your name and the brand that you sell & represent.

Reach out to well known ladies in private as well.

:)

As others have mentioned, once you get a few more reviews, that will help.

Also, I believe P411 is more popular in this area than date-check.

Finally, the more you participate in the chat, the more we'll see your name and get you stuck in our heads.  :)

...your TER profile and P411 page seem to indicate you are based in NYC.  You should probably make it clear that you are from out of town and in only NYC for a limited amount of time.  That might get guys to pull the trigger if they were on the fence knowing they need to act fast or miss out.

Not sure if this applies to others, but I tend to focus on ladies that are touring because I know they are only in town for a limited amount of time so I need to act fast or miss out.  On the flip-side I tend to take local girls for granted because I assume they will be available whenever for the most part.  Not saying it's the right way to think about things, but it's just my own calculus.  Just my 2 cents.

TER guys are more likely to review than guys who have never even heard of TER.

Try advertising a monthly (only!, not an unlimited) special; you can renew as needed:
"March Special: Established TER Members get Discount X."
"April Special: Established TER Members get Discount X."
"May Special ..."

Once biz picks up, the special goes away.

BTW, I sent you some PMs.

I didn't see any ads on the TER NY Ad board -- did you place one?

If I had checked you out, I don't know if I would have moved forward. Your contact page begins with a screening form that I would not complete. So I would have left your site right then.

I am a P411 member and if I had seen that as your first means of contact, I would have been closer to contacting you.

P411 membership shouldn't be used as the only means of screening. This is not industry standard. Don't listen to this guy, OP. This is an example of a client you don't want to meet...someone who views your safety as an inconsequential detail.

P411 is a the gold standard, in my book. It's a great place to advertise and reach out to references - but it's not meant to be used as the only form of screening - it's merely used by to keep track of references and advertise but nothing more. Same goes for whitelist here on TER.

God forbid, something happens during a date with a P411 member and you never bothered to screen thoroughly, what would you tell police? "Oh, officer! Help me, jimmyjizzpants69 from P411 assaulted/raped me!" Nope. Nah.

I'll make app if you come out to island

Hold tight! Increase your advertising reach.
P411 is the site that works best for me, in terms of quality and quantity of inquiries.

Consider joining twitter so guys can get a sense about who you are - not just what guys in reviews say you are. Let yourself shine there!
For real - you may not get bookings directly off of there now or ever, but I've had more than a handful tell me that my Twitter feed sealed the deal and convinced them to book with me.

It would serve you well to tweet about your hobbies and outings, start conversations with fellow providers, post nice candids. Staying far, far away from any drama, complaining about highly polarizing politics or your troubles in the industry is a safe bet. Do let your personality shine, but don't treat it as your would personal life twitter, ya know?
