Agency vs Provider

I tried submitting a review for a provider at a popular agency here in town.  She had been reviewed quite a bit in the past (I had been planning to see her for a while), but I noticed I couldn't find anything on her before my visit to her this past week (on an individual basis any longer...although she had a number of reviews for "doubles" with 4 other girls).  Anyway, the review was rejected because she was "delisted".  Is that typically something done by her own choice?  I'm more curious than anything else.

I've delisted myself every time I've gone on hiatus.  It doesn't necessarily mean anything sinister!

Some of the reasons for delisting are here:  http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion_boards/viewmsg.asp?MessageID=75527&boardID=33&page=

But there are also occasions when agencies seem to disappear. In Boston, an agency actually posted on their website the real name and ID pic of a provider who ripped them off. That didn't last long and TER suspended them for outing her (but I don't remember if the Profiles disappeared). Just recently, someone posted to the NY Board that an agency previously active in NYC seems to have disappeared from TER. If de-listed with cause, I can't mention their name so I won't post a name. Perhaps your missing Provider was with them

No...as far as I can tell, this agency is going strong (regular reviews of other providers there).  Her pictures are still on their website, and she was available when I contacted them over the weekend.  I will assume she had her own reasons for doing delisting herself.  Thanks.

Seems like TER went on a delisting kick.
Right! There were a number of problems resulting from one or more hackers stealing pictures and other info and creating ads with bannable content on other websites. In some of the cases discussed on the boards, it seemed that the hacks were deliberately malicious, trying to hurt specific providers for declining to see someone.

One lesson from that: watermark your pictures! It can facilitate getting pictures taken down from the sites that are posting those pics without your permission
