Am flying solo in St Barths and looking to party it up at Nikki beach and Yacht club.  Does anyone know if there is a hobby scene there or should I bring a friend along?

No real hobby scene, but relatively easy to get laid if you're a "partier". If you aren't,  bring a friend or take a trip across the way to St. Marteen for a day or two.
