A Food Board!!! (switch Asia for NYC Food)  Just kidding!

But how come Nyc doesn't have the best Hotdogs? I mean Chicago has Doug's so where's the best hotdogs?

Make sure you don't eat hotdogs from someone who lost electricity recently also.

you do get hungry after sex.

But if you knew the crap hotdogs were made of you wouldn't be eating them!

I don't eat hotdogs but was sorta shocked that people would wait in a 2 or more hour line just for hotdogs in Chicago last week!

They do a deep-fried dog wrapped in bacon which I enjoy with mayonnaise, plus they have tater tots, which I also enjoy with mayonnaise.

Plus they're open weekends until 04.00 am!

The pizza here is way overrated.  There are some good ones, like Arturo's on Houston, but most I find are pretty meh.

Hot dogs here...nothing to write home about.

The steak is good, but many steakhouses are indistinguishable from one another.

I will say that a lot of the Asian fusion and the Italian is pretty fucking good, though.

Chicago is a great food town.  I'd put Gibson's against any NYC steakhouse (I'm so sick of the NY-style Luger sliced porterhouse shit myself), and they have something we don't have here that's amazing--Italian beef.

Try Luke's in Chicago for the Italian beef.  They even make a killer pizza that way.

At Walter's, on Palmer Ave. in Mamaroneck.  Served from the same roadside stand since 1923.  Secret recipe, split down the middle and cooked on a griddle with a toasted bun and special mustard with bits of pickle in it.  Superb.  I will pick you up and take you there sometime, but only if you wear a mini-skirt and 4" heels.

Many of us who grew up in western NY have fond memories of "white hots." I still buy them and bring them back to Manhattan when I go up there. The main purveyor is Zweigle's. They don't seem as spicy as I remember them from my youth, but then the extraordinary women of TER are so much hotter than any other experience I've been spoiled! :)

Herewith the Wikipedia white hot description:

The white hot is a variation on the hot dog found in Rochester, New York, and the upstate area. It is composed of some combination of uncured and unsmoked pork, beef, and veal; the lack of smoking or curing allows the meat to retain a naturally white color. White hots usually contain mustard and other spices, and often include a dairy component such as nonfat dry milk.

Hot dogs are one of my least favorite meats.  The last time I ate a real hot dog was so long ago that I cannot even remember it.

My favorite foods are pizza, Tibetan food, Japanese food, Chinese food, burritos, tacos, Indian food, Ethiopian food, fresh veggies and fruits; in no particular order.

When I do have my monthly meat/fish indulgence, it's usually chicken and waffles and sushi.
