A couple observations

Greetings everyone,

Can't believe I am saying this but I missed the hell out of the TER community.
So happy that it is operational again.
2 quick observations:
-Rates have substantially increased.  I'm happy for those of you that can garner greater fees but I will not increase my spending ceiling regardless of how well Trump says the economy is doing.
-A higher percentage of providers are choosing NOT to be part of TER.  This leaves me with a backlog of reviews that I will not share out of respect for requested privacy.

Happy Hobbying!!!!

No doubt about rates as there is a substantial amount of women charging 1k/hour or MUCH higher, in some circumstances. It is increasingly more difficult to find young, hot, skilled women below $600-$700 in the Indy world.

Part of the reason is, as you say, the great economy and part of it is due to lower supply, but the same demand, imo. Many girls left the business due to Sesta-Fosta or went UTR and just met with regs or people the regs recommended but the number of guys looking for SW's probably hasn't dropped at all.

Many women, who were either neutral about TER, in the grand scheme, or somewhat pro-TER have decided to delist, and some actually did quite well without TER after the initial shock.

I have been saying for awhile TER needs to make some changes and it looks like they may be trying a few things, so thats a good sign, but going back to "business as usual", (i.e. prior to Sesta-Fosta and prior to #metoo) just isn't going to happen, imo.

I agree with @jack..
While the economy is doing better and many providers has increased their rates from $4 toi anexcess of $5/6 plus for an hour, I would refuse that donation. Far from cheap, I cannot justify a 30-40% price elevation.

In talking with both clients and other providers, we have noticed a couple of things as well (2 good, 1 not so much):

1. Our good clients seem to have been staying 'close to home' over the past couple of years due to the uncertainty. Now, it seems like they are trying some new ladies (good for them) and seeing who else is out there. There's a reason Baskin Robins offers 31 flavors--we should all try new things, right?

2. Although some rates have gone up (ours have not, btw), many ladies have found their comfort zone and stayed there.

3. In the past 6 to 9 months or so, the number of flakes and/or late cancellations has seemed to rise for a lot of providers. Now, there are legitimate reasons that late cancellations occur (work travel changes, illness, etc.). However, a number of providers have noticed that the overall percentage seems to have increased. Hopefully, it is just a cycle and things will go back to normal. It is so nice when clients and providers are able to rely on each other to show up and have a good time taking care of each other...teamwork makes the dream work!

... have DEFINITELY gone up.
You could argue that it's in line with the rise in the cost of living in NYC.
You could also argue that it's sheer OPPORTUNISM.
One or two "pros" decide to charge X amount OUTSIDE the "normal" range.
When and If those ladies have "success," then others follow in their stead.

What these other "pros" fail to realize is that a) maybe those HIGHER priced ladies are WORTH it, and b) the higher you raise your rates, the MORE is expected from you, and if you don't "perform" as expected, that may lead to BAD reviews, and, hence, diminished business.  :(

On top of the many things that have been mentioned (rising cost of living/visiting for NYC, opportunism, attempts to play catchup) the other factor people have forgotten is that around the same time TER went down so did BP. BP like CL before it was the saving grace for many SWs and more afordable providers. They were all mixed in with the ladies now charging 500-1500, who previously covered the 300 and up ranges. Those ladies at the "lower end" (sub 400) use to put downword pressure on prices as a whole. Many look just as good, provide as good service and keep as hygenic as the $1000 ladies. In many cases those ladies beet out the higher priced ladies.

Once the chanel of information from BP and TER was broken the consumer was left with no comparitive source of information save for the high priced ad sites like Eros. This allowed rates to break open and why we started seeing a sudden surge of +1000 advertiser where just a short time prior this was almost exclusively reserved for famous pornstars and other notorious starlets. Now it seems like everyon is reaching for the sky. The ecomony is good for now but it has been on shakey ground for a few years already. Its only a matter of time before the bottom falls out and the trends flips completely. It will be rush to the bottom.

I was only around for a few months before TER shut down, but it was an important part of how I got started. After it closed doors with SESTA FOSTA, things certainly changed, but I was still adjusting to being a provider, so I didn’t realize at the time how unusual things were. In retrospect, I recognize that advertising sites (while dealing with new rules of their own) had a lot of power. Their rates have only continued to increase, and since TER was gone, NOT using them wasn’t an option. When I was starting out, they were also helpful in seeing what others in my area were charging.

Which means that the new providers coming in still do the same: look at Eros & Slixa, see those rates, and take that as the norm. Pop on Twitter, see those providers’ follower counts, and see that they’re successful while charging those rates, and validate that they’re viable. So there are definitely higher associates costs, but also the newer providers are coming in and seeing a certain price point as the norm.

As for reviews, there’s a fair amount of peer pressure involved honestly. I understand entirely why some providers do not allow reviews, I completely get it! Some folks are VERY passionate about it. At this stage in the game, I still find them beneficial, and just ask my peers to respect my decision in that.

if you were making 20$ an hour and minimum wage went up to 15$ you would want a raise also?

I would imagine that any guy that has extra money for a hooker is probably invested in the market?
most girls doing this are just trying to pay their rent.
has the market gone up?
are you earning more at your job than you were 4 years ago?

so when you complain about $100

you sound very cheap and no one wants to fuck you.

you want your wages to go up and everyone elses to stay the same? what an asshole!

beside if the economy is good and you can make enough money to get by as a waitress or a bartender than
why suck your dirty old dick for the same money?

thank you for proving that all rich guys are not well versed in economics.

maybe give the girl an extra shekel? this is not a hobby for cheap and poor guys.

Good lotion is less than $10 a bottle

hey dopey
you really sound like a trump loving moron
have you ever heard about the theory of free market economy? or i am guessing that you remain functionally illiterate

and i quote:
Free markets are characterized by a spontaneous and decentralized order of arrangements through which individuals make economic decisions.

in other words, charge whatever the fuck you want but don't have the audacity to assume what is in someone's mind or pocket

i believe the fortune cookie i received at the end of my meal last night said it best:
good no cheap, cheap no good

when i started this thread, there were really some meaningful responses and theories and i really appreciated their thoughtful input

you, on the other hand, resort to name calling and telling prospective clients to go jerk(fuck) off

if you run your business in the same way that you publicly react to someone else's concern, i cannot believe that you will have success

how do you assume that wages have increased?  have you analyzed the socio-economic data and have access to everyone's portfolio?

stay in your own lane and really for the sake of everyone, shut the fuck up
