Just saw a visiting provider from a Canadian agency.  The provider was pretty, but would not stop talking.  Now I love a good talker, but 1 hour goes by fast.  This happened once before to me, but the provider realized time went my and took the rest of the time needed (maybe 20 minutes more) off the clock and made sure I knew she enjoyed the connection.  So, I gently try to move things along at which point she tells me the following snippets.

1- She doesn't like 1 hour meetings.  Not enough time to feel comfortable (this happens at the 25 minute time point)

2- Sex for women is more intimate than it is for men (gee, I wonder why there is a market for this business in the first place???) so she really needs to know me first.

3- She is so tired after having taken the bus from Canada here to NYC. (2 days ago)

This is coupled with the fact that she told me this was the first time she has been to NYC.

Now she was reviewed last month on TER favorably...I reread this review to see what was up.  In that review, she had a French accent but my experience was that she spoke w/o an accent.  Bait and switch?  But this agency has many reviews in Montreal so they seemed reliable.    

The session barely heated up, I felt blueballed and it was time to leave.  

I remained a gentleman but inwardly was pissed off.  In the back of my head I thought of the disclaimer at the bottom of most provider websites, 'this is an escort and not an offer for prostitution and time spent between us is mutual'. I have never had this happen before.  In fact, I usually find that I end up on the high end of the YMMV.  

I wrote an email to the agency but no answer...yet.

She did not seemed spooked and was happy to kiss (which I think is quite intimate, oddly more intimate than sex in many respects).   I left, wished her goodnight and went home VERY frustrated...

Isn't it clear what this hobby is all about?  Did I miss something here?

No, this is not common.  But it does happen occassionally, unfortunately.

Since there are several Canadian agencies that send girls to NY, it would be helpful if you either fully disclosed the agency and provider names, or didn't drop any hints at all.  No need to unnecessarily cast doubt on an innocent agency/girl.  It's not fair to the good ones.

will consider placing the name.  As it is possible that several people saw her in NYC, I figured I would see if it was just me or not.

Agrred. It really falls on the gent to determine the pace of action..........trying to get to know someone is either a stall tactic(well designed) or it is just a naive girl who needs to get looose, but remember that both these scenarios are at your expense! She can still talk while she undresses. Next time, as she talks, just get up from the chair or bed and start undressing yourself. She'll get the message.

as has been mentioned by many providers.  I needn't tell my doctor that now it is time to stick his finger up there to check my prostate!  I think it was by design and I was had.  I often ask a provider to 'take the lead' which has worked 100% until now.  And I did start to undress at which point she tells me hour 1 hour is a bit rushed...you get the point.   For example, for those of you lucky enough to have seen Alexia (Village Girl), she is a talker too, but she did not lose track of what we were up to...I am not going to say we went off the clock, but she did not watch it either and talked about the elections, art, New York, the business, weird clients and ... we had fun too...maybe I had been lucky up to now?

No one should be confused about what's expected in an escort session.  I agree with you that a professional should move the session along if you don't.  The flip side of "don't talk about what the money is for" has to be "you don't have to play games to get started".  Everyone has their own pace but if the one being paid has to be open to overtures and take the lead if they aren't forthcoming.

As for the 1-hour, if someone doesn't intend to perform a worthwhile 1-hour session they should not commit to one.  

This kind of thing happened to me once long ago before I knew of any boards.  I called the agency and complained but didn't get any real satisfaction.  If I had known about boards at that time, I would have written a really negative review.  

I think you should write a review of the agency and the girl and be honest about what happened.  I sure wouldn't want to stumble into a situation like that, especially if there are good reviews that might lead me to wrongly think the service would be good.

Could be you were intentionally played.  Could be you got someone very inexperienced.  Maybe you could have done something differently.  In this case too, a negative review (to agency management and onto these boards) is required because that's the only way the provider can learn what not to do and that other hobbyists can avoid the same experience.

If the agency makes it up to you, you should be public about that too.  This board's got to be about truth and information or it's useless.

Just one review AND favorable, agency girl...huh...duh...I guess that, alone, should tell you something. NEVER trust the first (maybe second or third) review done on a girl unless you see one of the die hard hobbyists name there. Ever noticed that all first reviews are done by guys with handles that you never see in any other reviews anywhere?
Some guys like to gamble, some guys like to get the new girl on the block because she's "fresh" meat...but, like anything else in life, there is a price for it

and I don't have much to add other than emphasizing the need to know. That's the essence of TER. Please tell us who the girl was and who the agency was. You would be doing nothing wrong by doing that.

This is an intimate and high-stakes (money, illicit nature, etc.) for both clients and providers.  Nothing is worse then feeling ripped off.

Wait another 24-48 hours for a response.  If you do not receive a satisfactory response/explanation, then write a scathing no-holds-barred review.

I would feel like crap if I had an experience like you had.  I would feel even worse if I learned that other hobbyist already went through this but failed to warn others.

There's no better instructor than market discipline.

Montreal and I can tell you that there are a few girls impersonating ladies from Canada, especially Montreal (it is the exotic French thing).  In any case, you should let others know the name of the agency and maybe contact them to make sure this wasn't a scam operation.

never planning on doing anything... if he would have done what you suggested, I surmise he would have been sitting beside her naked and her fully clothed, talking about her "emotions" and "feelings".  

Question: I wonder, if to her, styaying 2 or 3 hours, really means, getting to know you better... and if that is her goal, is that really enough time?
