First off, even if your photos were taken an hour ago, there will always be picture trolls looking for "updated" pictures, pictures showing a particular attribute that he needs to fully consider booking you, or whatever the latest excuse du jour is for this dude to snag pictures of you for his wank bank. Pay them absolutely zero mind.  
   
 That said though, you may want to consider getting new pictures, depending on your style. I've noticed some girls shoot an extensive portfolio of photos all during one shoot, and may use different sets from that same shoot throughout the year.  
   
 I personally enjoy creating artistic photos, and so I shoot constantly. Once or twice a week is usual for me. Only a very small fraction of my photos ever end up on my site or anywhere beyond my computer though... not just because of the sheer number of photos I have, but because many are not the mainstream glamour type shots that seem to get the most attention on the ad and photo boards. I'm much more likely to be photographed rising out of a foggy swamp or crawling around an abandoned building than I am to be posing among sensuously rumpled bedsheets.  
   
 Most of my shoots are not extensive though - I begin with no agenda, and basically just see what I get at the end - probably unlike the shoots that you did last August. Those are great, but you may want to fill in the gaps with some quick concept shoots. They're a fun way to try out new photographers, and explore new ideas.
