Had a 8:00 am with a well known provider. I text her from the hotel parking garage at 7:55 and she texts back I'm early and to wait.  I text her back at 8:15 and tell her I will reschedule. She obviously over slept and it's no real big deal but it's my time too. Just wondering the general thoughts on it.

!5 minutes may be a little short of a time for a cancellation but, at the same time,  she should have given you a time frame when you called at 7:55 i.e. Sorry, I am running late. It may be 15-20 minutes before I can see you or I'm sorry but I'm sick and I can't see you today but discount for next meeting. Something!
To some, it may depend, to some degree, on how badly they/you want to see her but either way it is unprofessional on her part not to have said something!

did she blacklist your real name when you cancelled?

but seriously 15 minutes isnt that long a time to wait , I bet most guys would give you examples of waiting a half hour or more in their experience, I know I could, and trust me sometimes the wait wasnt worth it

Call at 7:55,,,,, again at 8:15.  No show by 8:30, leave (gracefully).  Don't want to get blacklisted like greeneye!!

Making an 8:00 am appointment alone might be grounds for blacklisting lol.
They shoot people at sunrise for a reason - who wants to live at that hour.

But seriously, the mistake she made was giving you the "doctor's office" answer, which can give the impression that her time is more valuable than yours.

I try not to book an appointment that early in the day. Most providers will work late into the nite. The earliest appoint I book is early in the afternoon

I hate when you are told I'll call you back in 5 minutes, that always means 15. When I hear 20, I go get something to drink.

Being an early riser myself, an 8am appointment has never been a problem for me. I always anticipate an early arrival but if i am not ready at that time I will give a definite time of when I will be ready so you won't have to sit around in the parking lot with a WTF feeling.  My question though would be did you confirm with her that morning before you left out to make sure all plans were still a GO. There are so many factors that go into play that might help explain her state of mind.
