Hi All.

I found TER almost by accident and I'm glad I did.  I've been dabbling with the hobby on my own (a few Nevada trips via eros) and I guess I've been fortunate so far.

I want to keep pursuing the hobby but I want to do it right.  I'm worried that if I keep "dabbling" I'll end up in a bad situation or worse.

I'm reading here on TER about P411 and so on.  It seems like that's a big help.  I'm also trying to use TER to help me avoid the wrong situations.

I guess what I'm asking for (from either side of the table) is advice on how to do it right and guarantee a safe and fun experience for all.  Your input is appreciated!

I've had nothing but terrific experiences so far. I self established some rules (not for everyone, but I'm a bit reserved/nervous and much more interested in slow, sensual times. Talking with a sexy lady alone is very hot in my book and I know I'm in the minority that way).

1.) I've only seen a couple ladies and restrict to those who have a solid history of high reviews for several years. (Safe bets).
2.) I don't look to see anyone who offers 30 minute sessions. (I'm looking for more connection and people who offer 30 minute sessions aren't likely making connections-30 minutes is probably more transaction based).
3.) I don't look to see anyone who charges less than$300/hour (maybe $250 but only if there are a ton of excellent reviews). I charge clients $150-$175/hour for my work and this is worth definitely twice or more what I'm worth an hour-I want her to have that sense of self worth and importance-I view it as I'm lucky to be considered a client not the other way around.  
4.) I don't make last minute appointments. Sometimes I book a week or more ahead (big head thinking).
5.) No backpage-ever.
6.) Most women are attractive in my book, so I'm less worried about hair or bra size or whatnot. So I'm reading ads and "about me" descriptions looking for interesting people I'd want to spent time with. Never pick someone just because she's smoking hot if her ad is a jumbled mess or she loves Twilight Vampires and you are of the mindset that the only good vampires are Anne Rice vampires and she's thinking "who's Anne Rice?".  
7.) You can read a lot about the guys who have multiple reviews what they are into and if it matches what you are seeking and then you can go look where they've been and see who they rated highly.

I think these narrow the field to established folks who are professional and offer a more connected experience. But that's just me

Very helpful to exaclty your point.. and I consider my self a Newb and probably will forever ... Like you, when I started, I was lucky.. now pretty much follow the guidelines here and have been screened by P411, Datecheck, RS2000.. plus active here as well.. that helps the ladies and helps me.. I want to have fun, not drama and have no interest in misguided LEO attempts..  

The New England Community is active.. and you will run across many of the same folks from a lot of different directions..

Dryver8 guidelines are on point. I have more or less used the same guidelines as Dryver for many years and they have served me well. Actually can say never had a bad experience, but some were better than others.. Had the pleasure of meeting many sexy ladies, for-filled many fantasies and have seen most ladies multiple times... Seems like the 2nd encounter is better than than first less nerves I guess.. Plus seeing a provider multiple times helps with references... One other point I like to see mature women 35+ they are typically more professional, less judgmental, know why we  are here so no games, discreet and they seem to enjoy sex almost as much as me...Also if you can swing the extra $$$ two hour meetings are the way to go.  just the two cents of a veteran hobbyist

Thanks to each of you for the feedback.  I'll certainly check out p411 and datecheck.  Seems like getting set up on them makes life easier for everyone.

Do you guys feel there's a benefit to being a VIP on TER?  It sure seems like there's a lot of insider info available but the cost is a little steep to me.  Still it seems like the smart thing to do.

I am presently and it's been invaluable up front and I used the ability to read the reviews in full heavily before I made the first couple calls. I can see after a while it not being so needed if you establish a group of regular ladies to see. Good intel seems key.

If you submit two reviews, you get VIP for a while...
