1- a summer sunrise on ogunquit beach. There's no houses here only sand dunes and sea grass very private after a short walk from parking. Purple light is beautiful thing to start the day off then breakfast at "The Maine Dinner" in Wells 10 mins up rt1. 2- a sunset on Cadilac Mt in Bar Harbor then walk around downtown popping in and out of great local bars. 3- go for a ride on the bike up Rt 17 from Rumford to Rangeley last week in Sept during peak foliage making sure to time it to see sunset at "The Hieght of The Land". Then into Rangeley for some great pub grub and a good beer at "Sarges". 4- go for ride to top of one of Sugarloafs awesome peaks and ski fresh powder in morning after a big storm the night before. Not sure what your into but these are just a few suggestions to start with. Welcome to Maine!!!!!
Great to have you here! If you're into hiking head north to Mt. Katahdin. I've climbed it several times and it's one of my favorite places in the state. Sugarloaf is too. If you ski it's the place to go. Some might say Sunday River but it really doesn't compare, it's just closer. Great hiking in the Sugarloaf area too, Mt. Bigelow at the top of the list. If you like beer we have a lot of breweries and brew pubs. Hope to see you soon.
Skiing, downhill or x country, hiking, river trips, fishing, floating the river, pubs, decks, sun. Are ya tired yet girl. It's Maine, "THE WAY LIFE SHOULD BE"!!! Throw in some xtra curricular activities in and you"ll be a HAPPY GIRL in your HAPPY PLACE!!!
