So many girls do save info, but for me... I cant get your info off my computer quick enough.
Sadly, I find Im in the minority. I was just typing about this on another board.
At the end of the day its a gamble for everyone & from every angle. Every1 just be safe out there & go with your instinct. Purge & delete.
Stay smart, stay safe, & stay SEXXAYYYYY! Seriously though, happy hobbying.
First let me say, please don't take my lack of reviews and/or posts to be anything other than I just choose not to. I do sporadically partake in the hobby, usually don't choose to review unless asked and these days partake more in AMPs than the hooby, it just easier.
So I walk into work this morning and check my e-mail. In my inbox is an e-mail from a distribution list I am on, talking about how to deal with the media outfall connect with a person I have personal contact with that has been named in the zumba scandal. Kinda hit home for a couple of reasons. First, I actually contact AW back when she as adverising on the backpage. I never followed up with her because her rates were steep and she justed want too much personal information and luckily for me it set off a red flag. Moving forward for me and many others I think is how to trust giving out any information and really trust is a two way street. Why should we trust an escort with our personal information and get none in return? I know you use the information for screening purposes and safety..but some of the best escorts I have hosen to use have never asked for much. I don't get your real name or any details about your real life, so please explain to me why I should give you (some one I know nothing about besides what you choose to tell me or put on your website) any real details about mine? I know I always here "I never keep the information," or "delete the information from my phone," etc, etc. But obviously, one woman chose not too, which makes me think it could happen again and maybe innocently, like forgetting to delete/shred info and don't get me started on the dangers of pretty much anything deleted from a computer can possiblly be recovered. And many of you ask for lots of information, name, phone numbers, business/employment information, website, etc. Your just asking for a lot.
Sorry to rant, just hitting a bit too close to home today. Love to hear what other hobbiests and escorts have to say on this.
Here are the two choices you have if you want to hobby:
1. See gals who ask for little of any screening info, knowing that gals like that are often risky and that also you might be meeting LE instead of a provider because LE doesn't ask for screening.
2. See gals who do ask for personal info and maybe end up like the Zumba clients.
I prefer to go with the second group, but we all decide what we think is best for ourselves in the final analysis.
Either way, the law of averages is your best protection.
Or, you can decide not to hobby, but that's no fun.
...most reputable ladies would never be so careless.
Second, I completely understand your concern. I dont blame you whatsoever. I suggest you get together some references that you can use or maybe get a verified lady youve seen to vouch for you on one of the many verification sites like date-check or p411 or roomservice. That tends to make verification pretty painless.
At the end of the day we have to be careful just like you have to be careful. Always remember to be discreet when making contact & booking. Always trust your instinct. Most importantly.... dont let this stupid girl ruin your impression of us all.

We all have to make a decision when scheduling our little adventures. That decision should be based on your own particular situation and your level of risk your willing to take. I would assume a married man has way more (risk) to consider then a single man. This nightmare that has happened in Maine will ruin so many lives...all for what...an hour of adult fun?? Was it worth it? Were these guys trusting this girl to dispose of there personal info...of course they were. I know for a fact that MANY girls save client information for future reference, this information can and will be used by LE if this girl ends up getting pinched!
I have decided that my personal life and the chances of destroying that for a long time is no where near worth the hour of pleasure I may derive from meeting a girl who insist on my own verifiable information...No way no how! I have never had any issue with seeing any girl I have been interested in without supplying all this "Verification" info.... While i feel terrible for each guy in Maine who is in the midst of having there lives turned upside down, I must say you all should have used your big head first to understand your level of risk before u handed the keys to your life out. Anyone at anytime in this business could use what info they have against you!
And to the girls who require this information....I do understand your need for this information, thats your right but don't think for one minute either you or LE can't access and use that information regardless of the care you take in securing or deleting it. Once its in your hands there are no guarantee's as to how it could be used in the future.
Stepping of my pedestal...LOL
Muffy

first, Tamsen huge fan, even though we have not had the pleasure meeting yet..
I respect that you are deleting and purging data.. but please know that unless you are using, "shredding programs" on your computer (this goes for all the ladies and men out there) any data can be recover by those that know how. In with the shredding programs you can still recover some data. But you are right, trust your instincts.
That's a whole different level of paranoia there honey.
Tamsen and others may see my reply here as being argumentative. I'd rather look at it as informative. Even though you purge and delete, it is still there on your hard drive. A computer forensics expert will find it. So if you get busted and they confiscate your electronics then the information can be found. I for one don't want anyone to have my real personal information, just as you don't want me to have yours.
good luck and stay safe
You can actually download Freeware to extract deleted files....it is pretty easy to "recover" deleted file.... as they are not really deleted but that is a more technical question....
good luck and stay safe
If you read my first reply to drjh6, I said I completely understand where you guys are coming from. Are you kidding? If I were on your side I would NEVER give my personal info either. I actually tell clients that email me from a personal email to make a hobby email. You guys are my clients & my livelihood so I'm on your side. Without you there is no me & I want to do all I can to keep us all safe. So please dont say I said youre argumentative. Silly goose.
You can see ALOT about me online. If youre going to book me, I need to make sure youre not an ax murderer. I'm sure you understand. Youre gonna have to give me something, baby.
Get someone youve seen to refer you to DateCheck, p411, or Rs2k for easier booking on every1. With references from established providers in one easy place, booking is made a snap & there is less said between hobbyist and provider during booking.
drjh6, I always knew that there was something left no matter how much I purge & delete. I still do what I can. Teach me about the data shredding, please. Can I download it? Where/how do I get it?
And thanks for being a fan! ;-D

Tamsen, Here is a free file shredder that has good reviews.
Hey Tamsen,
You can buy shredding programs or even download them for free. I always trust tech advice from cnet, they have never steered me wrong.
Some programs will not only encrypt files (so only so can access them) but also will shred delete files, temporary files, browsing history, etc.
check out the link. I have attacted. If you can't open it just google, cnet reviews.
J
I'll be looking into these tonight. Thanks again & stay safe
Muffy is dead on. I never give any of my real personal info to anyone. They don't get my real name, real address, real place of work, monger phone # only, try to park away and walk to them, never give city I live in, what I really do for work, never will I show them an ID or biz card...PERIOD. Frankly, I've seen just about every lady I've wanted to see. Once I met with a couple now I had references. I treat ladies well, I show up clean, and prepared. I arrive and leave discretely. I am not LE and I treat ladies well...I have too much to lose personally and professionally to give my personal info to anyone. AW had the private eye connection to run plate #'s. That is a pretty rare thing.
I always back up an ad with a review or a reference through backchannel. If you see prevously reviewed ladies that have a trusted reviewer you are in pretty good shape.
Someday, if I see the need I'll get verified through P411. That way I'm giving some info to a 3rd party that can't be linked to any particular lady.
I'm sure this ticks off some of the gals...sorry.
good luck and stay safe.

I never give any of my real info nor would I ever use a "service". I don't care how many promises are given. Information can easily be retrieved from a deleted file on a hard drive (easy to do), and why should I trust a stranger (sorry ladies) who says they will delete my info later?
(I have heard stories of bribery, etc.)
Heck I just had a gal (she recently posted on here) that she needed me to connect with her on LinkedIn before seeing me. Ha! Deleted!
Only participating rarely, I can then provide a reference.... if not good enough, I move on. I suspect (from my experience) that the sharp ladies can easily determine a solid date from a quick conversation as well (email, YM, AIM
I also always do complete searches on the gal, and even sometimes I try to help her out if I find some incriminating information online about her (e.g., she doesn't register her web site with privacy block) - perhaps that alleviates her concerns about me... Regardless I can easily move on if the requirements are too intrusive.
I understand the ladies perspective but please understand ours too....and think about the potential losses given such strict requirements... which you are entitled to.
Useful though it takes a long time to run fully.
Delete only removes the first letter of a file... easily recovered. I clean my hard drive often... do other things while it runs. I keep my hobby phone clean.
I've not had to give my info in a long time.
This business should always be discreet... providing from a location easily linked to HER is playing with fire. If either party is sloppy... risk increases.
