So, I let my VIP membership expire about two months or so ago and the other day I get an email from TER support informing me that I have a PM waiting for me. I log on and go to the mail folder and "discover" (already knew the answer before I got there) that I would need to upgrade my membership in order to read the PM.

Hmmm, this is shades of the stuff that Adult Friend Finder(and similar sites) use to get prospects to upgrade. Is TER searching for the lower depth of the barrel - or have they found it?!!
