You are near and dear to my heart along with uncles who served in the Korean War, a current family member overseas and the father of dear friends who was one of the original Band of Brothers. He passed away four years ago and signed a copy of Stephen Ambrose's book for me a bit before that. He had the most amazing and frightening stories. I gifted the book to a gentleman I volunteered with once who was also a vet and so kind to me. Most important was a man I was married to a long time ago who was a Vietnam Vet. Medic in 101st airborne and also convoy gunner. Terrible stories, nightmares and PTSD. Good friends of his who also endured some pretty horrific things. Boys who were barely 19 and never came back the same. Have visited the memorials in DC and also Angelfire, NM.  Words can't convey my appreciation for the sacrifices made by so many of you. Thank you doesn't seem enough.
Love, light and peace.
