In looking at new dates, I take a look at the reviewer's history.
If a reviewer has been the only reviewer on 2 women over a short time, that is a clear yellow flag.

If you go to your Account Manager you will notice that simply uncheck in the "Show Whitelist" option will hide your whitelist.  I have many Whitelists but do not show them as they are not needed to screen me should I choose to contact a provider for a date.

There are probably thousands of reviewers who never ventured into account manager.

do many providers even take the time or know the true TER name of reviewers/clients?  I have written many reviews (using this and alias) and never even thought about (or looked at) my whitelist.  I am a massage-only guy, and many of the gals I see use schedulers and never read their reviews and often don't even see the ads posted for them.  So I don't know how often whitelisting is used.  (Not sure I care...  but it'll be info to have if it makes sense to use.)

I have ten reviews and on more than half of them I am the first or second reviewer and I don't have any referrals.  Easy to explain.  I don't see the Top 25 simply because I can't afford to.  Well I could, but then I couldn't go as often.  I'm still fairly new to the hobby, but I am a single father getting out all the angst of a crappy 10 year marriage.  So I see less expensive girls so I can go more often.  Although I am starting to rethink that after my last encounter.  Anyway, very few of the girls that I have seen are going to take the time, effort or even care about this site.

... then Provider Okays on that site take the place of TER whitelists. Every couple years I remember about TER whitelists and ask a few ladies to update me on the off chance it will come in handy. Don't think I have had any use for them in the past several years.

P411 is using OK's as a way to show that the person has been in fact seen by provider.  Writing a review by no stretch of any means is showing he's actually seen any provider... it can potentially all be fiction.  White listing means he's not fictitious in being actually met by a provider... at least 2 whitelists by well reviewed providers cinches up any suspicion that he is LE and it also indicates he's likable, discreet, a real gent and worth seeing.

I don't know about better.... but it is great to have both or either whitelists or/and P411 OK's!!!  mn4ever has both but P411 Rocks too & very much so!    

I've wondered, but always forget to ask when I'm with one of you, if on P411 when you look at the OK's can you see who gave it or does it just say this guy has x number of OK's.  (The client side if I select "provider view" it does show who gave it).

Whitelists are overrated. Usually only the high end girls will whitelist you and if they like you and have a great time there is no need. I have no whitelists and have many friends in this hobby and never have trouble finding someone.  
  If you want to see a high end girl and have not before and don't really have good references (only see cheap girls) you probably won't get into the higher end. Just go see the mid-range newbie friendly girls (they are out there).

I don't give out my TER handle.  Less drama.

If you see a lady who wants references, what name do you give them to pass on so the referring provider knows who she is being asked to verify? I hope it's not your real neame. I supposed a hobby-only email might work. How do you handle that? Do you just not see women who want references?  

I make initial contact and request through P411. Most of my 20+ Okays are current and well known girls so I've never had an issue and I don't think my Okays have ever been contacted.

From P411 this is what I have to do earn OKs:  
In order to set up your Preferred411 account we will most likely need personal information such as your name, phone number, and work information.
The ONLY exception is if you have excellent provider references and are very well-established in the community.  Your personal information is destroyed once we are able to verify you.
Please understand that we are going to confirm that you're a legitimate client somehow.  We will usually check your employment info and/or provider references.  If we can verify that you're a long time member (in good standing) of a community that may be another way we can verify you.
All applicants must be verified to our satisfaction, and we can be pretty tough!  If you are not prepared to provide this info or we cannot verify your info to our satisfaction, you will not be given Preferred411 membership.
Remember, we do not keep any identifying information on file, this ensures the safety and comfort of us all!

Yes I can see that might be easier or better for you ... From a provider's view point, I do consider P411 a tiny bit better for a few reasons (such as added screening and provider profiles are typically up to date as well as it's easier messaging providers on P411). I do however like either WL or okays but many here don't use the TER WL system. Other providers may have other opinions or preferences.

When travelling, P411 Okays work better than TER whitelists in areas where TER has not made great inroads but P411 has. There are a number of those. I daresay there are also places where P411 is weak, though I have not found one. If you are just stiking to the Twin Cities, I suppose either one works fine.

All true but you still have to pay with a credit card or money order.  Anonymity gone.

I don't display my white lists. As I don't review most ladies I see, there are a few gals who don't need to know everyone I've seen for various reasons. If a gal wants to see my white lists, she can ask. I have yet to be asked.  

You can do cash in mail.

Some people don't care much for them, are satisfied with how they are currently doing things, or don't even really know about them.  For example if a hobbyist is accustomed to giving out references, he may not have paid much attention to whitelists.

You can also do moneygram which requires you to include your name and address but they do not ask for ID ... Who says you have to give them the "real info".

The topic has never come up for me and doesn't seem to have been an issue--although perhaps it explains why some well reviewed providers never even respond to e-mails--perhaps they use that for screening before responding?  Always assumed they were used primarily for oft repeating customers--which aces quite a few hobbyists out.
