... now her kids are going to die, right? Or at least get the measles. Or a bad cough, or something.

You hear that phrase in the movies all the time, often coming from people who don't have that much else in their life to swear on, and I don't ever recall anyone stopping to opine how lame and inappropriate it is. Guess they're not sensitive like us. It's good the Christmas spirit has moved you to take that particular shot at this particular time. Important commentary on the point she was trying to make.

Happy holidays.

The latest review written about me is not real! I swear on mine & my kid's lives!!!

I have had a few fake reviews removed. Just tell the moderators and I am sure they will sort it out.

why swear on your kids life?

I thought the same thing. You can swear on the stars or you can swear on the moon, you can even swear on your own life, but I would never dream of swearing on my kids lives.

What was the point being made by the provider?

One has to assume that a negative review was recently attached to her profile.

However, false (presumably negative) reviews are not logically consistent for either the provider or hobbyist.

Provider Side:  In my view, providers (generally) only care about reviews when they feel that they will hurt their future business from hobbyists. Let us pretend that the review submitted was false but glowingly positive. Would a provider call attention to a positive review that may reflect an encounter that never took place?

Hobbyist Side:  In my view, hobbyists (generally) submit (either true or false) in order to receive VIP membership credit. If a hobbyist is going to spend the time to make up a review for credit, wouldn't it be better to positively embellish the details in order to enhance the opportunity for the review not to be challenged?

Note:  Please have a Merry Christmas!

While negative reviews are obviously worse (and yes, sometimes people will write fake reviews for the purpose of harassing a provider or damaging her reputation), a number of times I have had providers tell me they have challenged fake reviews even though the reviews were positive.

I feel that it is commendable that some providers have mentioned to you that they will challenge fake reviews even though they reflect a positive experience (and presumably generous scoring).

However, a tacit thought in my comments was that many providers do not pay close attention to their reviews. Alarms (most likely) are only sounded by friendly hobbyists looking to gain some measure of favor with the provider.

In any event, it is interesting that you indicate a frequency ("a number of times") for fake (although positive) reviews. It would be worthwhile if hobbyists could understand the relative percent of reviews on "The Erotic Review" that are fake (positive or negative commentary and scores).

Yeah, why bring Honey Boo Boo into this

I loooove my kids with all my heart! When I said I swear on mine & my kid's lives that the review isn't true... it's because I KNOW THE REVIEW ISN'T TRUE!!! Swearing on mine & my kid's lives means that if the review were true... only bad things would happen to ME & my KIDS (ie: we'd be bound to h*ll after d*ath)!... But, remember I know for sure without a doubt that, that is a crooked totally fake review! Otherwise. no way in dodd... would I have sworn on my life or my kid's lives! I would never send us to h*ll!! I'm a very strong Christian & my kids & I are going to HEAVEN when it should be time for each one of us!...which won't be for a LONG time! by the way, it was a quick response to reading it & realizing it was fake!!! No bad will comes to ME or MY CHILDREN because the review was 1,000,000 fake.

Put on your thick skin now Aliciah, because I'm gonna tell it like it is.
It sounds bad. It's not cool!
To swear on "your kids life"  makes you sound trashy, and uneducated. However please know that
Tons of people sound this way all the time and I'm sure non of us hasn't said something "trashy" at some point in life.
That being said please remember your on here to basically "sell yourself" and that means your personality. If you chose to regularly post and let people get a glimpse into who you are.
Maybe it's time to re-evaluate who (as you grow) you want to be, and how you want to be precived.I mean you didn't just say this in haste you took the time to put it in writing. I was going to PM you when I saw this post the other day and I'm really NOT trying to be mean, I decided to post publicly to remind everyone that we have all done our fair share of finding ourselves and it doesn't hurt to care enough to offer advice now and then, even if it's something you don't want to hear.
It's always better to listen and consider, before defending yourself because it may benifit you to leave some phrases in the past!!
        Yours truly,
 A parent

Thanks for your input on it. I probably shoulda worded it differently. My learning disability gets in the way of me saying what I truly mean. I just did updated testing & that problems gotten way worse!

So, I take that statement back & rebuke it.

For everyone's information, I'm not "selling" myself anymore. I've retired... so, take care. It just hurts me when somebody writes Bullshoot lies about me!!!
