Who is hesitant to see me because I have a significant other?  I've been honest about it, and it is well stated that he knows, but stays away from MY hobby.  He understands me.

I just want to get an idea of how many of you are turned away because I've been honest about it.

M

I am more put off by the mandatory intro fee. If my references aren't good enough I look elsewhere. Just being truthfull

I like honesty.  My biggest pet peeve is when provider's lie about their age.  Especially when they run various ads all with different ages.  Just tell me how old you really are and I will make the call based on appearance.  Different guys prefer different things so just be honest.

Only if you're hesitant to see me because of my S.O. ;-)

I go to a provider to get laid, not to get married.  I will say that it is different but I doubt that would deter any hobbiests.

It might turn some one though . . .

That situation does not bother me however there have been pimps, etc. lurking around apartments which have distracted the hobbist. Consquently, for some that is a problem.

Several of the ladies I've seen are either married or involved. A few have talked about it openly. I even met one of the husbands. That was a little strange, but all turned out well. Most of us are married or involved. Why should it make any difference to us whether your personal life has some real love in it or not? I, for one, think it's great that you have someone.

Thank you hungry1951.  I've learned through years of deception, that honesty really IS the best policy.

In answer to your question, there are some hobbyists who've expressed concern that my s/o will interrupt us.  Also in address to the same query, it DOES help significantly.......that I have someone who loves me to go home to.  Other providers have expressed how lucky I am.

Thanks hungry

When we part company, I go home to someone who loves me, and you go home to someone who loves you. You've given me something that she can't give, and he gives you something that I can't give. When we leave, we're both winners. Simple as that.

It doesn't bother me either, In fact a husband joined in one time! LOL

Maybe I am not the right person to answer this question as I have not met you. I will say this though. I would be turned away from a provider or anyone for that matter, who wasn't honest. I certainly would not be turned away because you have an S/O  and to be honest with you it shouldn't be any of my business in the first place.:)

Has never brother his bad boy; you have always been a great time to be with. A lot of the past and present providers have boyfriends or husbands. I believe Bridget had her husband complete the screening from time to time. Being honest is not a bad trait, people will always pick and choose who they see based on many different factors - I never really thought much about this angle?? If you have good reviews, provide a great experience, are good looking, down to earth and honest I beleve you will attract the right Gents - you are these things and just give it some time. It probably runs in cycles, I'm not exactly sure how my pea brain works; I have found I like to move around always in search of that 10/10, but always return home to those past wonderful victims; I mean great ladies!! Just thought that was funny....

I can't say I want to meet the guy, but other than that not a problem.

IMHO He is one lucky Guy!

For the time we spend together, you *don't* have a significant other.

If you felt the need to talk about your SO during the session, that might be a bother, but otherwise it doesn't matter a bit.

You may want to reconsider discussing him publicly though.  There are many aspects of your life you don't share with hobbyists.  Since your SO stays away from YOUR hobby, perhaps you should keep your hobby away from your SO.

What a strange pondering, how could anyone who has not seen you know anything about you?  My question is how "significant" can your other be?  Given the occupation you practice.  If your business has taken a dip it's simply a reflection of the economy, or, your initial fee that is charged, simply for the pleasure of meeting you.  Straight speaking how many men could really be in a loving, meaning full, and lasting relationship with a woman who is a escort?

It's a valid question if you have never visited her web site.  Marie is very up front about her marital status on her site.  What she and her husband have in their relationship is no one's business but theirs. Your post has more to say about yourself, your attitudes and probably your relationships, or lack thereof. I took offense.

and it's kind of an ignorant assumption that escorts are unlovable or damaged goods. Not everyone believes in strict monogamy, and many people enjoy and thrive on getting their needs met by different people. I have a lover or two outside the hobby. They know about each other and about what I do, and appreciate me just the same. I don't believe for a second that our jobs exclude us from the ability to have long-lasting, meaningful relationships.

Even though this thread was made for men, Remy's post got me thinking. Should I feel bad for not telling my S/O of 2 years? This is not something I like telling friends or him, it's simply my dirty little secret :)

I don't think our jobs exclude us from a healthy relationship either.

What are you doing here if you look down your nose at what providers do?  Looks like quite the double standard to me!  I too, took offense.

As I have found out 'plenty'.I have met many men who are progressive enough to understand and except my choice, they do however fear me meeting of strangers though.

No issue, as many of ladies have So, or are married like yourself but never say anything. I also hate the age deception as well.

The first time I met you it was not really a problem, more of an interesting side bar.  The second time it was even less of an issue.  That amazing last time, uh, sweetie, what was your question, again?

Oh...as a provider and double duo with you...

U ROCK!

People like you in this business are awesome!

Thank you!

Marie, I think it is good to stay within your boundaries as far as telling someone you are married. If you are comfortable sharing that part of your life, why not? Well, of course not too much of it as to turn gents off!;) But what harm can it really do to tell someone you are married? I think some guys would think that was a turn on!

Besides, I have had some gentlemen friends tell me they prefer providers who have partners, as it lets them know the provider is somewhat sane in her social life.

I agree with the gents on this one. Honesty can't hurt.

Xoxo,
Gia:)

But no guy wants to hear anything more than that.  Just don't talk about him, even if the client is inquisitive.

well, personally, I tend to stay away as for me it lessens the fantasy.  people do this for different reasons, fantasy, stress release, and plain ole fashioned human needs.  I guess it depends on each person reason. If the fantasy is to be with a lovely energitic woman on a "playdate" then a woman having a Significant other might ruin it or lessen the effect for some guys.
