great idea Star, there are a few boys up here, but I don't think there will be any gathering to discuss who we'd like to invite, lol.  That's why I occasionally throw up a blanket reminder to those that have travelled up here before that it might be time for another visit.

My fishhouse comment was meant to peak another gal's interest that likes to put crazy pics in her blog and see if she'd be interested in a fishhouse romp...ahem ahem

Yes lots of things for the un-initiated to be suprised by. When a car or truck rolls by and you hear the ice cracking is the simple stuff. Or even an inch or two crack opening up right through your hole (no puns please, I'm serious). Then there is ice fishing in the spring time when you are driving through water on top of ice that is on top of 20 or more feet of water. Then the surprizes that pop up in your hole. I once had a Musk Rat come up my hole, I think he was more scrared than me and he dove back down.

But the all time best one I've heard is the guy who took his Black Lab spearing with him (bigger holes, no puns here either) and the dog saw a fish down below and dived it and disappeared under the ice! (anybody with a lab can attest to their natural penchant for fetching things and their love of water) Next thing the guy in the fishouse next door is screaming and almost rips his door off as he clammors out when this big mouth full of teeth connected to a large sleek black beast popped up in his hole gasping for breath!!!

And just when were you going to mention this to the "old Guy"?
