Why wouldn't a provider use multiple methods of birth control?

I am a frequent client with a provider and she does not have health insurance.

If you do as gesture so be it your deal. But if asked to provide well I'm  sure can afford it  .

Tell her to go to the public health department in her county. She can get BC for free.

She should be able to buy her own (either pills or insurance).

If you really want to help her, then show her how to get health insurance.  In Minnesota, it's especially affordable.

Paying for one item like this reinforces her failure to take care of herself.  Do her a favor and help empower her to take control of her life.

If she's sophisticated enough to participate in the hobby (placing ads, incalls, outcalls, fake phone, screening, etc.), she can take care of this herself.  A call to MNSure is all she needs to do. And if you haven't heard, insurance is NOT, "...especially affordable."  All rates are going up like crazy, and even the governor said, "Affordable healthcare is no longer affordable."

Besides... the question was about birth control not health care.  What about all the bitching and moaning I hear about Planned Parenthood?  As I understand it, she can go there and get free birth control.  (Or am I wrong on that?)

Actually MNSURE is a great deal.

Insurers are charging more but those premiums are usually sharply offset by a sliding scale to keep the insurance cost very affordable in most cases. In addition, there is a financial penalty for not obtaining health insurance not to mention the ghastly cost of being without.

The Affordable Care Act (alias ObamaCare) covers contraception and reduces women''s health care costs by hundreds of dollars per year.

The best way to obtain MNSURE and the subsidy is to use a Navigator.  Many civic groups offer these (including Planned Parenthood).  They are painless and fast but in most cases, you must enroll by December 7

It is just ordinary friendliness  to share this kind of information with friends, family and providers.
Most providers do not mind if a hobbyist adds niceness to his hygiene.  None regard it as a fetish and it has been rumored to affect the mysterious YMMV factor.

Religious organizations and companies can opt out of providing birth control on their health plans.

I personally don't think you should have brought this to the board. It's not as if she was asking you to consign a car loan. This is about her female health. When said provider came to you, the choice was yours. You had one or two options to either say yes, or no. By bringing this question to the board it's like you needed a pat on the back by the good ole boys club to make your own decisions.

I hope and pray she does not read this board because if she does, she may feel humiliated. Even if you didn't disclose her name she knows you were talking about her.

If you want to help her then by all means help. If you don't want to help then don't.

Also just because a lady can post an ad and screen doesn't mean that they have knowledge about every subject. I have a friend who is very educated. Yet this friend called me one day and did not understand why they had no lights, heat, or water. They proceeded to tell me they paid the rent, but had no concept of utilities. Some people's strong points are others weaknesses.

Have a blessed day,
Andre

I think half the shit that gets posted on this board is lame.  But I don't sit here and write telling people to not post it.  I liked this post because in my opinion it shows how ignorant and/or naive people can be.  Almost humorous.  In this case, we have a provider who is obviously an adult yet cannot manage to get birth control.  Really?  Are you kidding me?  Kids in middle school can do that.  What has this woman done all these years?  And we have a guy who seriously asks about paying for her birth control.  Seriously, dude? Why would you even ask such a question here?  If you barebacked her and blew a nut inside her, then buy her Plan B if she can't afford it.  You did, after all, just pay $200-$400 to fuck her, right? So she has money. And there is a line of other dudes waiting to make their own deposit.  It's not like you had a kid together.

To Andrea's points:
If you have a friend who is "educated" but has no idea about utilities, well, she deserves a refund on her education.  How did she survive this long?   There was nothing in the OP that even came close to identifying who the provider in question is.  And if she does come in here and read this, she will see that Planned Parenthood is but one option.  Yes, it's true that one's strength might be another's weakness and vice-a-versa, but there are some basic skills that are common for everyone to get by.  Especially as an adult.

Smooches to all.  And have a very blessed day.

Maybe she can use the room at PP and save on incall costs?

And thus pay for her own birth control pills next time😗

Most of us have to pay for our living expenses out of our earnings (and pay for all the other welfare cases in our taxes.)

Why should she be different?

I happen to be one of the lucky ones - I get to pay top dollar for my own healthcare insurance and also pay for all the subsidies that everyone else gets for their healthcare

Condom accidents happen.  Using a second method would be a good idea.

I am quite surprised that a second form of birth control is not in place.  But maybe I'm just being a naive guy.
