In response to your post, all I have to say is that my nephew is in Afghanistan right now as a roof gunner in a hum-vee on continuous convoy escort duty, and I wonder what he would think about your dilemma?  Life is all about perspective I guess?

Right up front, yes, I should have known better.  Classic case of wishful thinking, but she's just SO my type:0 Has that Denise Richards look...!
   But yes, she stood me up...again. It happened around Christmas, to a couple of us as i remember, but it's been months...
So last friday she was back up north..what could i do?? Maybe she'd changed, right??
Well, I got her on the phone around 10 a.m., set up a mid-afternoon meet ( I got the room)  then...you guessed it, nothing. Nada. No answer to a few calls, no call back. No answer to 2 (polite) e-mails since then, no answer on the phone. sigh...
Heres the thing...I've been polite with her in every contact, she's been nice on the phone, no issues at all that I can tell. Heck, she even remembered me from Christmas time and seemed anxious to finally get together.  
  Next time she's up north I'm sure it'll work out. Some guys never learn

Ok,  I understand about getting stood up - who couldn't have a NCNS happen to them?   And, I can evern see it happening more than once with a provider you'd really like to see.  But does anyone get the room prior to the engagement?  I mean, I usually prefer incall but if I were to host, I'd certainly wait to see the whites of her eyes before actually checking in.   Other than freefallin, do you guys do that?  

Not being critical - it's your money freefallin - but just wondering if the next time I host I'd be expected to have the room taken care of prior to arrival.
