Spelling & grammar are important when I peruse ads. Of course anyone can have a spelling error or 2, that's excusable, I do it myslef all the time. But if it looks like they have just a poor education, or worse, didn't even bother to try and copied someone elses ad, that's a pretty good indication to me that I should probably move on.

Per grammar, please no more "I seen." It's either "I saw" or "I have seen."

Bad spelling and grammar is like having a big tattoo.  It says something about you to everyone that comes into contact with you, and its not likely to be something good.  Also, like a tattoo, bad spelling and grammar, in an adult, is likely to be permanent.

Understandably, people who think that spelling and grammar is not important, are generally not too good at spelling and grammar.

Hyphens are not spelling or grammar.  Hyphens are punctuation.

Actually, derivatives and integrals of functions are are not spelling or grammar.  They are terms of terms of calculus.  Familiarity with calculus is really not a substitute for fluency in your native language.

...they may not do so well in others. So for me I always did better in math and sciences, and really had no interest in grammar though I understand "their" vs. "there" "you're" vs. "your" and all that jazz.
