Men: If your SO wanted a threesome, would you prefer using a provider (maybe someone you have seen once or twice), your ATF provider, a provider (who you haven't seen yet), a mutual friend, or just pick up someone? If you decided on a provider you didn't know, would you use your references and handle or go in as a newbie? There could be benefits and risks in all of these.

... someone I know very well and trust completely.  And someone who would welcome a threesome.  I know a couple of providers who fit that description.  Alas, this will never happen as my SO would never in a million years request or want a threesome.  But it's a wonderful thought!

A few years ago (before I started hobbying, I was a lurker at the time) my SO and I were in Vegas.  We had been drinking for a better part of the afternoon.  We were walking down the strip and I was grabbing all of the cards I could.  I told the SO that I was going to call one for her to play with.  She said "Ok".  From there we played a game of chicken that ended with us fucking, and no 3rd party joining us.

If it was a SO, I would go with a provider I either knew or didn't know, but that I picked and communicated well with.  I'm not really bi, so she would need to do the heavy lifting on that end...if you get my drift.
