Yay!  Like you, I am back after a long absence, more like 7 years in my case.  Great to have you back.

As for where to go...

Just getting back in the saddle is no time for some long shot, take-one-for-the-team experiment.  The first patrol on your first day back will set the tone for the next few years of your hobby life.  What you need, my friend, is a sure thing, a great experience with a solid, reliable, emotionally invested provider, and leave the adventurous longer shots for later.
