Turning 50 myself....

my time in the hobby

is drawing to a close.  I am about to turn fifty in the next month and have been thinking about ending my hobby experience when I do.   Before I do I would like to have one more experience to remember for the rest of my life.  I have met so many incredible women over the past three years with memories that i just shake my head in disbelief.  i was open minded when i started hobbying but never imagined that it would be a transforming experience.   I am a much better person for having hobbied, mainly because of all the beautiful women i spent time with.    

I have several ideas as to how to end my hobby life but i keep coming back to one.  There is a special lady that I would love to spend time with again if she would be up for it.  i remember almost every encounter with all the wonderful women i have met but there is one woman that stands out.   I will never forget the first time I saw her nor all the time I spent with her.  She is that special.   That being said, I really don't expect her to see me again.  If she doesn't she will always have a special place in my heart.    

If i don't hear from her, i would still want one last hobby experience to smile about for years to come.  I have spent time with all the top women in minnesota.   so, i guess I am open to new ideas from fellow hobbyists or providers.      

I haven't contributed to the discussion boards but i have submitted many reviews under my handle and an alias that was mainly my massage handle.    I was never comfortable enough to add my comments.      

A huge thank you to all the contributors to TER as it provided me with the information I was seeking and the safety that I needed to pursue the hobby.  I would have never started hobbying if it wasn't for TER reviews and the boards.    

The biggest thank you goes to all the lovely ladies that I spent time with.  Thank you very much for accepting me into your life.

I'd have a Sheila Foxx- Poppy- Jillian- Samantha Good party.  Go out with a bang to end all bangs.
You've seen them all- now bring them back together for one super party.  They do know how to party together.

Contact her

If you really want that special experience, make it happen.  Do not wait for your special lady to contact you, contact your her and don't leave it to fate. You've seen some of the very best IMO so why not give her the chance to say yes or no?  If you don't you'll always wonder what if and that's not the way to go through life.  

Go for it you have nothing to lose and a lot to gain!

Turning 50 myself....

I too have slowed down quite a bit in this hobby world.  Now with 2 grandchildren and an increasingly stressful job, priorities change.  I suppose if I were closer to the metro area I might hobby more often but, alas, tis not to be.  I concur with you, the experience one has with each and every one of these wonderful ladies is one I will never forget.  My Mpls trips are now few and far between so I doubt I will see these wonderful ladies again but my appreciation does not go unnoticed and I am overwhelmed by their kindness they have shown me.  Maybe someday they can make a road trip up my way....I'm not done with the hobby, probably will never be, so if the opportunity arises.....

I do enjoy the entertainment from these boards though..Lol

Quitting because your 50, why???

First off, I'm in my mid 60s and enjoying my time in the "hobby" more than ever.  I've been a "monger"  since my mid twenties and have enjoyed scores of gorgeous wonderful women and yet just last weekend I had a double with 2 red hot women and it was one of the best ever.   Everyone one has their reasons for starting and stopping, but my experience has been that many men are active hobbyists well into their 50s and 60s and some even older.  If you enjoy this life and can afford it, why quit?  Good luck to you no matter what and I agree with others who opined that if you do quit, go out with a "bang".  May I suggest a red hot doubles date? Trinity Lake and Mindy would knock your socks off..

Why?

I too am curious as to what your thought process is on quitting. This hobby can use up a lot mental energy so learning about what brought you to this decision would be helpful.

Yes, these issues exist for us more "mature" guys, but......

A few years ago, I became very self conscious when meeting a new woman (getting old, "equipment" not working very well, not much to look at anymore, etc).  Then I met a provider (Trinity Lake) who changed the way I look at myself.  After we got to know each other a bit, she assured me that she saw me for the inner man I am and she brings out the young stud still lurking somewhere deep inside.  I feel appreciated in her presence and the self consciousness is gone. Now this is a not a shill for her, but to me the answer to the self conscious feelings is to find a woman or two that get to know the man you are inside and then they overlook the flaws on the outside.  This really does work and I can tell you that when I see women like Trin and Mindy, we have a great time and self conscious thoughts fly out the window.  Will I see every young hottie who comes along (like I used to)?  Nope, but there are a lot of gorgeous women around here who are sweethearts and will bring out the best in a man.

I appreciate your concern for the ladies, but I've been inflicting my ugly face on these ladies for 35 years.  Very few have complained openly to me as to my ugliness.  As I get older I tend to tip better as I grow more appreciative of their services.  I think that balances things a bit

Of course she wouldn't, Why?  Do providers see young guys for free (and I'm not talking SOs)?  No of course they don't.  This is P4P whether you are young or old.  And ya know what?  The women here are a bargain compared to the cash I've dropped on SOs in my life.

... I'm pretty sure Trinity DOES feel the same way about people, wad of cash or no. As far as I've ever been able to tell, she is completely honest in her interactions. Now, if the question was "Would she get naked without a wad of cash" then the answer would be "Of course not." It is, indeed, called P4P for a reason.

I read this post as perhaps meaning he's not 'retiring' due to age but more getting tired of it and wanting a break.  
Not sure how long he's been hobbying but maybe a break, however long, will give him what he might be lacking/needing/wanting/desiring.

I'm sending him my "go out with a bang" idea so as all of you don't steal it lol.

Dude I salute you it seems like you have certainly enjoyed yourself with a of beauties women in this profition certainty are wonderful especially once you get to know them they give themselves to you in time of need and you feel so fabulous but then after a while you relize your just another face in the crowd and its just business and you feel that emptiness when they leave as you get older you feel that's all you so try and find someone who loves you for what you are not what you got in your pocket good luck dude

Really??

You must be ignorant of basic human nature.  Some people you click with, others not so much.  I have owned several business over my life and have had cordial, sometimes even close relationships with SOME of my customers, while I held my nose when transacting business with others.  P4P is no different.  I know several women that consider me their friend (Trin is one of them).  Do I pay to play, yes I sure do (it's well worth it too) but we have other interactions because we "click" as people.  If you don't have these experiences, its probably because you do not see the women as people beyond the service they are providing.  You are missing out imho, but to each their own I guess.  
I also think that there is a difference between those of who are single and those with SOs.  If you participate in the hobby and must keep it hidden, then you are naturally constrained to a relationship with a provider in small blocks of time that must be paid for.  For some of us who are single, there may be times when otc time is offered and since we are not hiding, we can openly enjoy that time and friendships do form.  Do we still pay for play?  Certainly, but the play becomes more intense with someone who you know actually enjoys seeing you.  I agree that this is rare, but when it happens, the intensity is enjoyable.

I know sometime it sucks to be right their are many great gals in this hobby and some rip offs pimps and some that have boyfriends that are no more than pimps and and then sometimes you meet that special one that gives you shelter from the storm and you become a regular and you feel great and become great friends and things are great.T hen things start to change maybe your regular night starts to go arie and after the excuses you realize you ain't the only regular and someone else now is taken your place sure they'll see maybe if nobody is calling or maybe a special day comes by like Valentine's day and you get shut out but you still want to see her so she comes by you are happy she's there but she's rushed and leaves early.your left feeling bad because you realize she's everyone Valentine and your nobodies.You keep peeling off honeybees and realize when your out of them she's gone,and all you are now is a face in the crowd and you were just gettin a routine that she performs because that is her occupation and in your heart you realize your paying for love and affection.what it does to you is hurt your self-esteem your pride and self worth not to mention your net worth.You realize that when you've done your best and that's not good enough there ain't much more you can do but throw in the towel.So I guess I see where the dude is comin from hope he finds happiness with a gal who just loves him for who he is I guess that's what most of us really want.

The flaw in your logic is assuming it has to be one or the other

Why shouldn't escorts have clients they genuinely like?  It's still P4P because it's still a business of course but they are just as capable of liking some of their clients as a doctor, plumber, or any other service professional.

And again you miss the point, which is that it is not an either or situation.  If I use the services of a professional, friend or not, of course I expect to pay them.  So why would I pull a dumb stunt like that with my ATF or any other escort like deliberately trying to get away with not paying?  That would not a test of whether or not we are friends; that would just be me being stupid.

Oh, and FWIW there have been a couple of times when I found myself unexpectedly short on the fee.  They were cool with it and you may be sure I made it up to them.
