Today I had someone looking to be a client text me. I asked for their p411 ID because I thought that's where they found me. I asked them how they found me and they said they found me on TER. I asked for their ID info for TER and they said they didn't have one. I told them I don't see nonmembers. I also searched their phone number on Google. I found a website that people could comment on phone numbers and everyone said do not answer, it's a scammer, they claim to be the IRS. The comments were from 2015 but it really freaked me out. Has this happened to any providers? I wasn't aware nonmembers could see our info including phone numbers. He said he users TER to find good providers. I think it's pretty fucked up.

You have a profile on TER (https://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/sexy-sadie-6124440878-330865).  It was created when the first review for you was published, in August. There's two reviews now.

The TER member who submitted that first review filled out a form to create your profile.  He included your P411 ID and your phone number.  So that's how *anyone* who goes to the TER site can see that info, and more.  They don't need to be a TER member--it's public info.

You need to be a TER member to do things like post messages and submit reviews, and VIP membership is required to see everything in a provider's profile and in her reviews, although providers who "claim" their profiles can see their entire profile and everything in their reviews (and get PM privileges).  That's called "limited VIP".  If you want to do that and don't know how, see the page linked below.  

About the guy who contacted you not having a TER membership... he may have one and would rather you don't check his posts and/or reviews.    Another benefit of limited VIP is that you can search by email ID--assuming the email ID he used to contact you is the same as in his TER member profile.  

If you don't want your profile in TER, you can use the Contact Us link (bottom of the page) to request to be delisted--but you'll need to claim your profile first.

I know there are many ladies who do this and only release their phone # once the client has passed screening.  Some ladies have limited monthly messaging plans which wouldn't allow the quantity of texts a Provider is likely to receive.

... if she really wants to control who can see her phone number, she'll need to remove it from her P411 profile also, since that's accessible to anyone who looks at her TER profile, TER member or not.  

Providers profile, meaning basic info.. If you check your own profile without logining in you can see what I'm saying.  A lot of other info such as reviews "juicy details", services you offer are not privy but you basic info can be seen,...   I've have been contact by guys who use ter to view providers ads that do not have a ter info...    There are ways to verify guys who have no ter/p411 memberships, granted it's harder but there's many tools for providers to screen guys.  If you need info on those site pm me & I will forward you info.  AlSo always ask for references (along with other info)...  

If you've googled him & found negative info on him that should be a red flag not to see him it doesn't matter how old that info is... Just my 0.2...

before I ever posted a review I did the same thing.   used ter to find providers, read the general review notes (no juicy details) then reached out by phone or email.

I guess I never thought it would be strange to reach out that way.

It can be really creepy! I'm not saying you are "creepy" by the way. Thankfully most folks text me, but when I do get a phone call it can be odd. Folks are either breathing heavily into the phone (Silence of the Lambs flashbacks), ask really problematic questions (re: illegal & you have to hang up), or approach the situation entirely wrong. If you're going to call a provider this is how you do it:

You: Hi, is this *insert providers name here*
Provider: Yes
You: Hi. This is *insert your name here*. I found you via TER (or whatever source) and you really caught my eye. I am inquiring about your availability (or whatever so long as it isn't rates) since I didn't find that on your website/P411/TER Ad (if you actually read our website or ad you are phenomenal). I know it's a bit of an inconvenience for you but I'd like to know before I go through the trouble of screening.  

 
A gent approached it this way once. Because of his gentlemanly behaviour, I went above and beyond to accommodate our date. I'm telling you, manners matter.

.... I agree it's a winning approach for a man.  Start with a simple introduction of yourself, tell the lady how you became aware of her and what attracted you to her..... then give her another compliment ... then tell her you've read through her website then ask her if she'd be willing to meet with you and have a set day and time in mind. Only good things will follow...    

Dont just tell her you've read her website ... actually do it.
If the provider is professional, the website will answer most of the questions you might have anyway.
