It’s not the last strip club in Minneapolis but it’s the last one that’s not downtown. It closed December 23.

There is an old George Jones song that I feel describes the timeless sense of loss of the last authentic place one could go to hide among a variety of friends and experience the warmth of an empathic, half-naked woman who was likely the kind of person everyone knew and loved. I'm lucky to have considered it my home-away-from home for the last few years. It will be missed and nothing will replace it.

All the fun of places like this is slowly being taken away.  
Please shift the focus on real issues like murder, drugs,  
etc. and leave businesses like this alone. Shit like this makes me wonder why I still live here.
