been dead for years ever since backpage went down. most of small venues are lacking much in providers.

I will be spending a weekend there soon. Would it be advised to move to Minneapolis for better options ?

You'll have many more options.  Also, unless things have changed, St. Cloud had a required a rep as hostile to providers and hobbyists.
