She will be in the hospital til monday.  She is in pretty bad shape, but family are on their way to help.

I called because a friend who I'd given a reference for called asking what to do when she hadn't answered... Not like her to be rude so I left a message for her out of concern.

She called to let me know what was going on and to post a quick note for her.  She seemed shaken up and sedated so I didn't want to push details.  She should be out of the hospital Monday and said she'd call if she needed anything.
