-I was planning on coming down to the cities today (12.11.10 -Minnesota Mega Blizzard-), but soon as I saw the forecast, I knew I had to leave last night. Yikes!!...I had so much to do before I could leave Duluth and didn't get out the door till 10:36pm.
I was headed for the south metro area. I made it in 3 hours!...Not bad and I wasn't doing anything unsafe. The roads turned wicked about 17 miles north of North Branch. It was not a gradual thing at all. I was driving in good conditions and up ahead it looked like fog. NOPE, it was a wall of white snow. In the poor condition driving, I was doing speeds between 10-55mph. At one point someone pulled over because you could not see a thing. Seriously, you could not tell where the edge of the road was. I just kept going, slowly.
It was so peaceful and beautiful.

Needless to say, today I shoveled and admired the snow. The birds were fed, the beautiful Cardinals came to flash their boasting beauty along with all the other little brave snow avians. And the cute young squirrel with the damaged snow caked tail was adorable too.
I am absolutely in a winter wonderland.
**Oh another highlight today, while baking sugar cookies, I gave a glorious blow job. With the Christmas carols in the background, I had to laugh when I heard the lyrics: "Fall on your knees! O hear the angel voices!"
I did and then he did. LOL!
