and, mods had enough clout to get something pulled without litigating. that was the point -- local knowledge, local control. wild (but civilized, sort of) not over-regulated boards. good times.
Has been their model as long as I remember but this site stands way above the other pictures site for reliability. Do think though that the fakes are more prevalent then in the past Personally look for reviewers that have seen some crossover providers and how they describe her and the experience before trusting.
about screening reviews in order to get volume up again. Getting rid of local mods made fakes ever more likely and it's been bad. One thing a knowledgeable local board can do is hold the BS artists to some sort of account. In the past TER has not allowed posts as blatant as the OP in this thread. Just thought I'd test the waters and establish a bit more precedent.

Please give us information (you can send a message via contact us), explaining why this is a fake review. If there is information you have and we don't that confirms it is fake, we will pull it.
Appreciate the offer and your presence in the conversation. All the evidence is anecdotal and hearsay and based on experience (mine and the other reviewers). The circumstances described don't fit, there are elements missing, and physical components that are wrong. So I have pretty solid confidence that you will not pull the review. No point in wasting your time via Contact Us.
Here's my most recent experience of flagging something. I pointed out to TER Support that a new review was for a provider who had been back home in Russia for almost a year. Their reply was that they needed the Provider to contact them before they took action, but would flag and monitor in the meantime. The review is still up. Now it was easy to establish that she hadn't had an ad or been active for over a year. But I had the hardest time looking for her name in the Moscow Yellow Pages.
We haven't met before. So now we have 2 new friends, you and 8millionwhatever, posting all over the place. Welcome to Minnesota. The provider in question worked for an agency -- her entire profile lines up with that agency. If you attempted to contact her you would get the agency. Certainly she might be here under a different name, but if the suspect reviewer used that contact name and info he uses in the review... he would get the agency. Finally it was in checking with the agency that I confirmed that her last tour had been more than a year earlier. Want to have a quick look? I'll attach the link. Notice that her preceding review was 2 years earlier. So TER may be "correct" but they are far from right, or logical, or protective of their reputation, at least in this instance. Nice to meet you. (I should have just said that I saw her in Russia)
