My girlfriend and I are looking to visit Minneapolis, Where would anyone suggest to stay, Places to go?? Places to eat?  Any places to stay away from. I am thinking maybe to come in March sometime...

Saint Paul Hotel has the most SPECTACULAR room service meals.  Pricey joint (though money well spent).  There are other good hotels in downtown Saint Paul that are less expensive.  

Several good restaurants within walking / skyway distance.  Kincaids, St. Paul Grill, Sawatdee, Great Waters, Meritage, Fuji Ya, Babani's Kurdish restaurant, Christo's Greek restaurant, Red's Savoy Pizza (the best pizza in town bar none - possibly the best you'll ever have), and Forepaugh's.

Avoid like the plague:  Cossetta's and Trattoria da Vinci.  I can see how there is better and lesser Italian cuisine, but how those two establishment manage to completely fuck up Italian food is either evil talent or incompetence beyond comprehension.
