LE asking a busted provider to flip is not uncommon so is LE asking a busted hobbyist. It is one of the easiest "get out of jail" cards to play and LE will accept if it is in their best interest. Read... what will get LE better headlines.

I would be very careful about admitting anything illegal be it in person, texts, phone, email on and on.

She might have also forgot her phone somewhere and someone is playing a prank or forgot to logout of her email account and the next person found it. Lots of possibilities here.

I would thread carefully if I were you until she can explain her behavior and no next appointment for sure.

I would also dump my hobby cell in the middle of Lake Minnetonka and let the fishes answer the next ring.

Now if you do find something concrete, can you PM the rest of us guys and let us know?

Ok,here'sthe deal:  I've seen a fairly well reviewed provider now twice and have really enjoyed my time with her.  I posted a review of her that was very favorable as well.
I set up a time later this week to meet with her, which is cool.  Then yesterday, she calls me and is talking funny (hesitating, etc) and asking if I posted a review of her. I say "yes."  She then says that there are reviews on TER that aren't accurate and are saying that she provides services that she doesn't provide.
Not wanting to mis-represent her (and not being near a computer at the time), I give her my screenname and ask her to check my review to see if it is accurate and that I'd call her back in an hour to check in.
So, an hour later, I call her. She is acting even stranger this time and she says that she doesn't remember providing those things for me and that in my review, I describe "illegal acts" that she doesn't do.
Now my radar is going off, big time!  I say something like, I'm sorry...I must have been confused, etc.
We hang up, but not before she re-confirms that i'm going to call her later this week to confirm our appointment.

Now, i'm pretty sure that I'm NOT going to be calling her because the whole thing just sounds weird.  Is it possible that LE is involved?  She is known provider but is it possible that they "turned" her somehow?  Is that a common practice with LE?  She obviously has my phone number, so I'm nervous about even trying to contact her and tell her that I'm cancelling.

I'm VERY reluctant to give out her name at this point (especially on the board) because I don't really know what is going on.  Any advice?

Lay low. Courtesy has its place, but you don't have to call to cancel when she's freaked you out this much.

So, I don't see a problem with calling her one more time to cancel.  That way you are covered if whatever is going on ends up being nothing or blows over.  If you are that nervous, change the number or get a new phone afterwards.

Obviously, she doesnt want reviews posted which means she doesnt want someone seeing those reviews.  As to who that would be, nobody knows.  Significant other,  probation officer, whatever. If she were working for LE you would have been busted as soon as you handed over the money. LE isnt setting up some elaborate sting to get someone on a minor prostituion bust unless youre a big target.

How about you go see her, TOFTT and come back with a report on what is going on.

If she doesn't want reviews or anyone to see her reviews, all it takes is a simple email to TER asking them to pull her profile.

By the OP's description of events, it sounds like the provider was trying to set him up by having him admit illegal activities over the phone and trying to tie his review which describes said activities to his name.

It is not beyond LE to setup elaborate sting operations for anyone. If the provider is already busted, all they have to do is setup a one day sting operation where several of her unsuspecting repeat clients showup looking forward to a good time and LE nabs them.

Everything may be cool, but why take the chance?  If she calls again, tell her you have no idea what she is talking about.  "Review?  What's that?"  Politely cancel your appointment and stay clear.  There are several things this could be and none of them are good.

at the first sign of trouble, play dead

pretend you don't know her, don't call back, don't answer the phone -- if you do, say it's a wrong number

luckily for us it's a buyer's market -- having one less isn't going to kill you, especially with a potential for trouble

We have exchanged a couple of PM's and she has brought up the whole TER reviews thing is not accurate thing but for low scores, which at first I didn't see a problem and I imagine it happens. Then the conversation got a bit too fishy at which point I stopped the exchange (giving too much detailed information about her sessions and such).

At this point I would have to agree with the rest of the gang, cancel the app and swap numbers.  Better be safe than be sorry.
