Review Issues

There have been discussions on providers being able to contest reviews or content of such.
Not sure how it would be implemented without a train wreck but
Today a review by a client who claims BBJ from provider who has always been covered
Same Reviewer session with provider who has not worked with the virus for a month
   and claims April
Where should this platform go from here?

should be reported. I think it’s better if the providers report them, especially if the sessions never occurred. I’ve seen such cases where TER asked for evidence, eg email, that there was a confirmed appointment.

In the case of the provider being on hiatus when the session reportedly occurred, if there were evidence to that such as an email or a note on her web site etc, that might be enough.

The review with a BBBJ for a provider who’s known to do CBJs could be tough to get edited or removed, if the session actually occurred. Then it’s his word against her word. And sometimes it’s a YMMV thing where it’s CBJ except when the provider is comfortable with BBBJ, eg she trusts he won’t CIM or his hygiene is acceptable.  Guys with any class, and brains, know not to mention the BBBJ in such a situation, when the provider doesn’t want it mentioned.  I know several cases where some asshat has done that.

You can try filing a problem report with TER and see if they will take a closer look if the same reviewer has multiple inconsistencies in their reviews but even then I wouldn't count on anything being done.

The guy must have taken over the Talon franchise.  Several of them sound like shills too, especially the one in which he disses the "other reviewer" for overstating the cost of upgrades.

In another unrelated review (also yesterday) the reviewer wrote of an encounter in MN with a traveling woman who hasn't been in this country for over a year.

TER needs to get some sort of a grip.

Returning to the OP's point, very rarely (never) have I seen a hobbyist successfully lobby against a review based on his experience contradicting the review at issue. And only occasionally when the provider herself weighed in.

This is one of my most memorable reviews - whether it was actually true or not it led to about a 2 month discussion on what and what not to say in reviews, here on the boards. The lady never spoke up but she did know about it.

once in a blue moon a review will be so ridiculous that I can't keep my mouth shut. That happened last week, and I sent in a problem report, expecting nothing from TER.
Their reply was that they would "flag the file" with a view to identifying "trends."
Most encouraging response to date.

I did and they told me to have provider file it
No satisfaction last time so she is ignoring and considering delisting.
Not sure what the other one will do
This  just gives a reviewer with one review out of four I believe.
To the unknowing he is credible
