I was just wondering what others thought about the issue of liking a variety to keep things interesting, or finding one person that makes you feel comfortable.

I admit to enjoying the adrenal rush of a new encounter, but I really enjoy the comfort of someone I know. I tend to lean towards the later.

What do others think?

Variety, variety, and, oh God, please more variety. Although, there are a few girls, whom I have seen, that I can't get out of my mind.

There is something good about both.  I enjoy variety, nothing like getting together with a new hot young lady for the first time!  

But there is also something about being with someone who you have gotten to know (and knows what you like). Also everyone is more relaxed and you can just enjoy your time together.

But face it Bob, if all we wanted was "comfort" we would be spending the time with out wives (girlfriends, etc.).  Even when I see the same lady, what I am looking for is a little change and excitement.  

Variety definitely.  It's the main reason for hobbying.

At the same time, when you click with a certain short
list of providers, then its nice to re-visit them
on a rotating basis.  If it gets boring with one provider,
than you've either repeated too soon, or its time to move
on.

Because I am single, I do this due to the lack of ongoing "comfort". Honestly, if I was in a healthy relationship, I do not think I would be here at all. I am probably not typical (but who knows) of the guys here and that is why I ask the question. Just some curiosity.

For me, I can still get excited over meatloaf after having fillet mignon, it just takes a little sauce No disrespect meant, I just think I may have simpler needs and I guess I am trying to figure that out.

Both.  Nothing better than to find that perfect GFE, the one that makes you feel like the one of a hundred that "got the girl".  Too me the test of being a real GFE is one that makes you want to see her again.  But, its also the adrenalin rush of the new discovery, that first date, that first kiss, that first sight of her body, that first ..... you know!

I like to stay with a small number of providers but I do expect the provider to make sure we don't get into a rut by mixing it up.  My favorite provider for this is no longer with us (LL) and I've been searching the past year to find one with a similar knack for keeping it familiar but different.
