They did get a provider who was touring here yesterday.  So enough with the secrets about this that does not help anyone. So much for everyone thinking that touring is sooo safe.

Know the laws about where you are going to.  Thats for sure.  This is a complicated game we play.  I think it would be best to try to play the odds in the best way by being smart and knowing the do's and dont's of it.  Dont let your guard down and do your homework.  ALWAYS!!  Take care girls!!

If you're a provider and going to travel, you should know the answer to some questions before you start every trip:

For instance, what are the rules about warrants and extradition between my home state/court circuit and the state/circuit I'm visiting?

In other words, if I'm arrested and released on local bail or on my own recognizance, am I better of waiting in town for the hearing or getting the hell out of dodge.  The decision needs to be made quickly, and 3am is NOT a good time to be seeking quality legal advice.

I'm NOT a lawyer, but I do know that states enter into a variety of "reciprocity compacts," essentially interstate treaties that define when a state warrant can reach across state lines without requiring a hearing in your home state first.  (For instance, for many years, Wisconsin was not part of the US-wide "Interstate Violator Compact" and thus could not enforce a WI traffic warrant on an MN driver if the driver made it home.  Hence, you had to post bail for major traffic violations equal to the fine before leaving WI.)

Again, I don't purport myself to be a legal expert by any stretch, but I would discuss my destination state with my attorney if I was a provider and wanted to travel.

Perfect thoughts Madison,it is a game of chance (even though we don't want to admit it), but like you said, you need to know the rules (it really does help). In conclusion, maybe I am commiting work suicide here (don't care too much), but being the opiniated little thing that I am, "DON'T EVER SCOFF OR DOWNPLAY ME WHEN I ASK FOR REFERENCES OR PERSONAL INFO". If you don't like it, PLEASE DON'T CALL (wastes both of our times). I am in this for longterm, and want to protect my privacy, AND  yours ; I also have a family, friends, future career aspirations.) I am sick of reading about us local providers and how difficult it is to get an appointment. WE PROTECT OURSELVES. You see what happens to those who don't screen!!!!!Also, you are all lucky to have such great local providers (and I am inclding the one's that you know are GREAT!!!! Madison, Misty, Julia, Catherine, Tori, and many others that I have not mentioned) You have it great here, lot's of all natural,attractive, accomadating, good -hearted, and non-deceiving if you compare to other cities. I am happy we have this board to get rid of the "RIP-OFFS" and "CRAP", but why can't we give a hand to our hard working, LE stressed out ladies?????????????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the jitters of touring

I really feel for the out of town gurl who found herself amoung BPD's charlie.  Its no fun in town or out but out  but i suspect it would be worse because of felony stuff crossing state lines...not having a local atty...Yada Yada.
That was by biggest worry before I toured the first time.  I mean I really checked the guys outPoor things..but the ywere mostly multi hours except two and spread out and man each one was so kool in their own way.  I just wish I could do it more often.  I did it for variety honestly i felt there were things I needed to try...okay enough of that.  Anyway I just wanted variety like you guys I guess.  And boy did I get it I crashed when I got home whew but it was a BLAST!  I am sure Lisa can vouch for it being fun, meeting new and exciting people.  And hey I know how madsion andI drool over some of the traveling ladies..hee so I can only imagine the temptation if we had real penis'sCheers to all and to  all a good night..

I'll put my two cents in, in support of references and personal information. Personally, I am more comfortable when references are requested from me. I know then that the provider will be comfortable with me from the moment she walks in the door. No drivers license checks, no "are you a cop" - all that becomes unnecessary. Makes it easier to relax and have fun right away.

The obvious question is "What if everyone required references? How could anyone get started in this hobby?" The fact of the matter is there will always be those who don't request references. Go see them first.
