I've got more interesting things in my life than the Vikings, is that a crime?😗

... that hurt them. But if you were at the game, you would have seen a team fighting hard despite being outmanned. They had a decent running game--Asiata had better YPC than Elliot! Pass protection was better than in recent games. Receivers made some great catches, and a long pass to Patterson was nullified by the worst PI call I've ever seen.
They were big underdogs but were one play from winning the game.
And let's remember 2012: 6-6 team won last 4 games with a lesser QB and defense and made the playoffs. Next 4 games are very winnable IMO. And Detroit has a tough schedule, plus there's no standout team in the NFC except the Cowboys--and we nearly beat them.
You can throw in the towel and wait until next year if you want. I think there's still a lot of football left to be played.
From the dropped punt inside the 10 to the holding call that stopped the drive, it's all about mistakes.
The only thing the announcers talked about more than Zimmer's eye was that the Vikings can't overcome offensive mistakes and what did the Vikings go and do.
Playoffs looking bleak and they were 5-0😖

Not a good result, but a fun game to experience. Our guys in purple made a game of it and tamed that Dallas O pretty well.

The officials were terrible in this game. Called a terrible PI call and then let obvious ones go? The officiating has to be consistent to be fair. They can't always be right but they have to be consistent!
The no call on the face mask on last play was just another example.
The receivers made some good catches but they dropped o lot more than a team can afford playing a 10-1 team.
All my years of coaching, I always told the players that if they played 100% for the whole game (whatever sport), one referee call shouldn't make a difference. (They will always blow a call here or there. Need to play well enough to overcome that.)
It was an ok game, but the Vike's offensive play calling remains predictable, boring, and ho hum.
