What ladies are still around from night lights?  Who were some of the favorites from there?  That is where I took the plunge for the first time!  Nervous as hell, had a girls tell me how to pass the test the next time after one refused to see me.(thought i was le)  Shane, Vanessa, what others?

I remember Renee and Robin and Cassy! I had the fortune of
dating and living with Robin after she had left east lake health.
We only lasted for about a year and a half then went our
seperate ways, God she was the best in bed! and good eye candy
too! but very wild! But still remember having so much fun with
her!

Night Lights was the best thing to ever happen to the Hobbie in Minneapolis.  Night or day, 24/7, 2-5 girls every shift from which to choose, all specialties served, and reasonable rates to boot.  Who could ask for anything more?  My favorites were Joanne and Ashley for fun.  For the "wild side" my choice was Roxie.  And for very young, drop dead good looking, and a teenage attitude my pick was Monique (dark haired 19 year old), for Great "bar hair blonds" it had to be Shane.  
A few of the currently well respected providers are Night Lights alumni. (You know who you are!!!) The owner of Night lights was a very competant business woman.  She took care of her customers and workers, and ran a first rate business.  I don't think we will see anything as good for us all, any time soon.

I agree,  those days bring back a sly mischevious smile to my face.   I still remember the "line-up" of gals on the couch....some would only open one eye-lid and then slouch back to the corner of the couch after you picked someone else. My favorite was their old location on Cedar Avenue.....they seemingly had an all-star line-up every night

Suzanne was a knockout, although she was at Cosmopolitan and only appeared at Night Lights briefly,  Renee was sweet but quiet. Evelyn was a Madonna look alike and what a body she had.

Night Lights was great!  Good location very reasonable price.  I found it funny that the "test" was required but when I wanted to practice further it was extra.  No prob though.  The only girl I saw was more volumptious had glasses and wore pantyhose.  Very fun!  Anyone remember the name?

Was this the place that was on 3rd in the Mpls. warehouse district?  For some reason I was thinking City Lights. That was where my initiation took place.  Climed the long stairway believing that hundreds of people saw me going in. Rang the buzzer and was peered at through a hole in the door.  This was daytime. Candy was the one that administered the test. (I saw her many times after that until she retired in the past year) Other favorites were Destiny, Brenda & Trish.  Only names I can remember.  There were cats roaming around the place.  They moved a few times since then. Generally in less than ideal digs.

it was relax a lounge on 38th and cedar in south mpls.
and the other great place in south mpls that was a great
place to visit was the east lake health club on east lake st
and 36 ave. that is where I got broke in to the hobby, I
remember this tall and slender brunette who went by the name
of Jenny, Boy was she a beauty. she was new to the biz also
and it was a first time for the both of us, I wanted to leave
my wife and run away with Jenny, I often wonder what ever
happened to her? that was back in the year of 1981 i think.

I believe Rebecca Rand owned the Relax-a-Lounge in Mpls and the Cosmopolitan in St. Paul.  After LE closed her down, some of the ladies kept it going.  If I remember right, they first were located in a place on Univ. Ave. near 280.  It was called the All American or something like that.  I met a woman there by the name of Kelly that was one of the wildest sessions I ever had.  I won't go into the details, but I had rug burns the next day.

I used to go to both relax-a-lounge and night lights often myself. One night at Relax I went in and picked my gal. it turned out I knew her from high school, but didn`t recognize her at first! That was awesome! Renee was my fave at night lights, I must have had her at least 20 times there. Damn, do I miss those places.

Dang! She was my first as well, but I think it was early '82. It was that winter anyway. I remember thinking she was the receptionist.

Never had the pleasure to see Night Lights, but the stories from the girls I met who were there have been awesome!

My first experience there was with Candi. Then I came in the evening and saw Joanne.  I also saw Jade (man, she was hot!) and this buxom blonde named Diana.  She used to wear a nurse's mini uniform for me, with the white stockings etc.  She'd always wanted me to take her temperature.  Also, another thing about the place was the price. Economical and quality.  Good Times.
Last I heard about the girls from Night Lights a few of them are on University in a very inconspicuous location.  I don't think Joanne is with them anymore.  Shane was there for awhile, then went out on her own.
By the way, does anyone remember the time when they were on the news, and a news reporter was trying to ask them what kind of business they did there?  Man, if they had just showed up 2 days earlier from that day, I would've made the news along with them.

I also visited the "Relax-A-Lounge" and latter "Night Lights".  What set them apart for me was the little touches (offering to bring me a cup of coffee or soft drink, etc.) that set it apart from many others!

I would like to know what was gained by shutting it down?  They seemed to take care of the ladies, and the guys enjoyed it!  Shutting it down did NOT rid the Twin Cities of prostitution!  

I really feel some legal outlet should be made legal.  I think most people would agree with keeping the streetwalking illegal.  The girls and thier customers sometimes do it in public alleys and parking lots, and leave used condoms around.  Not something I want in my neighborhood.  I would allow incall type brothels.  Not exactly like Nevada (where the girls are in under complete supervision 24 hours a day), but more just a place where the girls can go to work legally.  I would also allow outcall services, where all the action is in the privacy of the customers home or hotel.

Relax-A-Lounge (the best), Cosmopolitan, Donna Lee's, East Lake, another one at 494 and Lyndale (I've forgotten the name), Lee Lenore's in St. Paul on Snelling. I remember driving around sometimes just looking for someplace different to try. I was always paranoid about being seen going in. Sometimes it was disappointing, sometimes it was amazing, like the time that I saw a new-to-the-business provider, who got so excited that she squirted. How many remember a long, curly haired girl with massive natural breasts, who went on to work with Tamara (I won't mention the name, since I only remember her real name)? I loved those breasts. And whatever happened to Shane (I've always wondered)?

That's why I left there (because of the news).  Did you know that DAMN Tom Lydon from Channel 9 was there with his crew for well over 3 hours? (We invited them after their repeated requests.) They had coctails, cigars, horsderves, we closed the place down for the day, just to entertain them.  THEN when the a-holes aired the tape, they had NO dialoge, just Tom Lydon consistantly saying the "P" word.  THEN they had the AUDACITY to show some of our mugs on the news that night, (most of which were first-timers).  So embarrassing trying to explain THAT one to the family.  Ever since then I have boycotted Channel 9, my family even boycotts it.

The next location on north Washington Ave. after down town.  I made many visits there.  Missed the news crew by a day.

Ahh yes, Relax-A-Lounge on Cedar. That's where I started in the hobby. Has to be at least a dozen years ago. It was like a smorgaasboard, all the ladies sitting in the reception area, some dressed in lingerie, swimsuits, or shorts/t-shirts. Blondes, brunettes, whatever tickeled your fancy that day. You guys obviously have better memories than I, because while I remember the girls, I have no idea what their names were. If only there was someplce like that now. Where is Rebecca Rand when you need her.

for starting such a fun conversation.  I have smiled at every one of the posts, and its so funny how night lights, ELH, and Relax affected us all much like our very first time.  Wow what great ladies I met - Shane, JoAnn (my fav) and Vanessa.  

My first time in was a failure, middle of the day, they pegged me for LE...I was so dumbfounded why nothing happened!  My second was only slightly better with Shane, we got naked, but I didnt get the "test" so after an hour (excrutiating i bet for her) she got dressed and said and I will never forget..."next time it will be different honey", wow was she right.  For less than $ we got the best memories and met some wonderful ladies! Thanks to all of them too!  Makes some of the ladies who post on here laughable doesn't it?

Hey don't feel bad I had the same thing happen at Polynesian Paradise.  It was maybe my third time but the other two just got down to business.  I pick a girl and she tells me to "get comfortable".  Still being shy I strip to my underwear.  This really freaked her out.  Somehow or another we got down to business after swearing not to be LE, showing my license.  Her leaving the room about five times.  Finally got down to business but ended up with a poor HJ.  Same deal was left with Tamara telling me next time would be better as I made the girl nervous.  I was really pissed but looking back I can't blame her a bit.

I think that Cosmo was the best of all of them. Also 24 carat in Richfield was very good for many years. Many of the girls from there went to relax-a-lounge. I think Hailey, JoAnn and Shane where the best overall. Shane went on to work at out call service. Then she went independent for a year or two. But I believe she has retired from the business.

This has sure been interesting dialog.  Although I only visited Night Lights once, I was practically a regular fixture at East Lake Health Club.  Anyone remember Vanessa?  I saw her a couple of times after EastLake closed, but I heard she then retired and got married.

I have not been on Lake Street in several years, however I am wondering if there are still a couple of places in that area.  I seem to recall Utopia Health Club or something like that, being on the north side of the street, about a mile east of 35W.
