I posted a while back about a TER reviewed Asian provider that appears to make a habit of standing people up.  This would ordinarily be a highly self destructive business practice, but perhaps not in her specific case.  She has next to no competition in her ethnic niche.  The funny thing is, there are plenty of Asian providers advertising, but very few with reviews.  The same problem exists, to a lesser extent, with black, Latina, and other non-white providers.

I think that part of the problem stems from the fact that minority providers are less likely to strike out on their own, and more likely to work for agencies.  Even most of the non-white independents tend to keep a low profile/low overhead by taking out simple line ads without pictures, and are thus unlikely to get reviewed on TER.

My biggest fear in testing out the line ads is unknowingly stumbling into an agency pimping out underage girls.  I want no part of that!!!  I’ve heard Asian gangs have gotten into this racket.  Anyone have any advice on navigating the shark infested waters outside the safety of the TER pond?  Am I being overly paranoid?   Is this a problem on TC Uncovered, or is most of that kind of activity occurring on an unadvertised street-walking level?
