Like a lot of people, my cell phone is work-provided so I can't use it for real personal stuff or risk having the number revealed, but it seems to work fine for most that I simply email to schedule, etc.  

I must not be alone, as over 90% of the time I have not had trouble scheduling just through email, but there have been a handful of providers whom I have missed seeing because they only can be contacted by phone.  In the past, I went out and bought a cheap burner phone to deal with those issues, but that just seemed like a lot of wasted effort to deal with when there is no shortage of ladies to see through email.  With that said, everyone once in a while I feel like I am missing out on something good.

All I have seen for reasons to not use email is that it opens a provider up to spam and time-wasters, but other than that, why not allow yourself to be contacted by email?  I'd be interested in hearing the reasons.  

Also, anyone know of a work-around?  I have had some success emailing a text to a provider phone, but most have not responded to that attempt to bridge the gap.

I prefer email, in fact that my only source of contact.  Others have access to my cell phone, and its linked to my Ipad.  Getting a gmail or yahoo account is simple, or even hushmail.  I wish more ladies would use email.  There are some I would enjoy seeing, but with phone or text only contact, I can not take the chance.  Hope some of  you ladies are listening.

I am NOT a hobbyist but I personally would not contact ladies via phone. Any provider who has an ad up should have an email you can contact her at, and most of us these days have websites.  

I don't know of any reputable ladies who handle their bookings via phone only and that would be an immediate red flag for me (though not a deal ending one, depending on how she conducted herself when I worked up the urge to call), especially if I did not have a burner phone.  

I have often listed my phone number in ads and I still redirect people to my site, P411, or email for scheduling appointments. And from experience, there are WAY more time wasters/people who cannot read of comprehend who contact you via phone than via email.

I love a short conversation with a provider I've never seen before.  I can tell in a minute or two if I think we'll hit it off, and I'm pretty sure she can too.  I've even had some providers (reputable ones) tell me they prefer to talk so they can hear if the guy sounds goofy or creepy.  No right answer here.  Only preferences.  And preferences should be respected.  Not sure why you would think a reputable provider wouldn't want to talk on the phone.  Seems a little uppity and self-righteous to me.

I write HONEST and objective reviews??  Ever occur to you that maybe... just maybe... I have written a LOT more reviews using my handle?  I doubt it.  Some asshole trolls just like to make uninformed assumptions.  I've actually met lots of great ladies over the years.  Difference between me and people like you is that I don't rate everyone as a 10 and Holy Shit! just because I blow a nut.  So the phone works for me.  So does email.  You prefer email but resort to phone because it works.  So what was the fucking point of your post other than to open up by taking an attempted cheap shot at me in your first sentence.  I guess that's really all you wanted to do, huh?  And behind your alias so no one can see your reviews. (I couldn't see them).  Bet all you see are 10/10 and you only write glowing reviews.   Nothing in my post referred to NOT using email for contact and screening.  They do that and I do that.   And just as emails can be missed, phones can be turned off or volumes down so they won't be heard.  So much for that argument.  Also, phones can go to voicemail, which might or might not be set up... might be listened to hours later.  And your call can also be ignored.  So your argument disproves itself. So in the end, you like email and phones.  Why did you write this?  

My comment wasn’t to be uppity or self-righteous. I have a girlfriend, Ava Zane in Boston, MA who has implemented a phone call as the last part of her screening process to determine compatibility. I’m familiar with how reputable providers use phones I’m not *opposed* to talking on the phone before a date, just not as the first contact and not until after you’ve been screened and we’ve settled on a time/date to meet. There’s nothing to talk about until then.

Another thoughtful, well intentioned reply on the subject for you:

Recognition: Voices are very recognizable, almost just as much as faces in some instances. Most ladies value discretion. I don’t want you to know how I sound until I have a reasonable assurance that you are safe to see/meet.  

Logistics:  You’d be getting calls and texts all times of the day and probably too many to answer. Some people won’t respect the fact that you have an actual life outside of being an escort, and they will call you multiple times. If you miss a call, you have to call all those people back. Also, it’s way easier to lose track of what’s going on when you’re taking phone calls/text messages for bookings and there’s nothing to reference. I can give you a more thoughtful reply about my schedule if we are coordinating via email rather than in-the-moment while on the phone. And there’s much less of a chance of miscommunication (“I thought you meant 11:30 as in 11:30pm?!” Or “Nooooo, remember I said tomorrow was at 11:30!”

Time as a resource, and safety: Particularly if this is an in-demand/desirable provider with advertisements up- many won’t have the bandwidth to talk to all the clients who are “interested”.
Most ladies have a website with a write-up and bio, and if she has reviews you should have an even more clear idea of what to expect as far as services. If you have to talk to her to decide whether you’ll enjoy your time together enough to want to send in screening information, a lot of ladies these days are going to be creeped out by that. I don’t know who you are yet, I’ve no assurance you’re actually serious about booking with me, we can’t discuss my rates so I’ve no idea if I’m within your budget range (and we definitely can’t discuss my services), and I have no idea if you’re recording our conversation (which would definitely be my concern where YOU are, in MN, given all the activity).  

Discretion, Safety, and security: But phones are easier to leaf through by spouses and friends. “I called my husband’s office at 1pm and his assistant said he ran out a little early... What’s this number my husband called at 1pm?”  
If you are accepting bookings via phone call only, your phone always has to be on and you always have to be accepting calls or you’re losing money (who likes that?!). But now, customers and border agents can ask you to UNLOCK your phone and search through it. “Why are dozens of strange numbers calling you at all times of the day? Hmmm... a call is coming through right now...? I’ll just pick up!” Or “let me reverse search this number??” Yea, you’re done for.

A LOT of LE busts are done by phone... it’s easier to get a lot of guys roped in that way.. and people who want to avoid email and screen via phone for security because they think they’re protecting themselves and because the girl sounds “legit” on the phone (“she even laughed at my jokes! She likes me!”) ... or because they’re just dumb
