So figured I would try to change the thread here a little after all the arguments...
I have just been read reviews(recent and pass) and notice that some pros have pimps but guys will see then anyway. Not factoring in the trafficking and possible volatility that these ladies experience with pimps, but why would any guy want to see a pro that had a pimp (or boyfriend that is really a pimp).
I know this typically is issue with lower end girls but saw an ad from a girl on Tyrst who also is on Twitter and she admitted to having a pimp and loving it.

The chance that he is coercing her and taking most of what she makes is far too high.

I know some very successful independents who have schedulers and assistants.

His cash spends the same and their pussy slides the same. What more is there to analyze.

I Wouldn’t choose the option to see , if known they were in that situation.

... are much different from pimps.  The OP asked about pimps.

Some of the ladies will actually seek out a pimp for a couple reasons: the pimp will pay for hotel rooms, and some will put all their girls on "salary," meaning that the money is pooled and every lady gets a living wage at the end of the week, even if she only pulled in $200 that particular week. So....pimps aren't always bad.

That being said, I still won't risk it. I won't even go through agencies; I strictly play with independent women.

Most if not all in, either have a pimp or at one time did. Make no doubt about it any scheduler is a pimp they make money from prostitution. Rent supplies cars etc who ever supplies these for monetary gain are pimps. Its not just the guy in the backroom with a gun, grow up. Those traveling gals are all being pimped, that boyfriend that lives off a ho, is a pimp, scheduler and assistant are pimps.Doubt me ok, ask a prosecutor. If you play you pay a pimp to fuck, although you dont see him, he gets a cut.

Assistants and schedulers don’t control providers. People who rent space or cars or sell supplies to providers don’t control them.
And no, not every traveling provider is controlled by a pimp.  I know lots of independent providers who travel.

FYI Rocket, I learned this from a local provider who had that kind of pimp when she started many years ago.

I think your definition is too broad and loses useful meaning as a result.

Assistants and schedulers kind of do "control" providers since they make the appointments for them, tell the ladies who they will see and when to see them, kind of like there managers or bosses. Full independents don't need these people and do everything themselves.

In other words, anyone else involved in the provider's business besides the provider is a pimp.  That makes no sense.

I assume this is still your ad since a provider identified you as the individual in the ad and you haven’t denied it.

... be sure to say “How do you like pimping?”
And I bet if a provider turned down an appointment set up by an assistant or scheduler, for any reason, there would be no repercussions from that person.
I also disagree that in order to be a “full independent” a provider must do everything herself.  Independent business people frequently outsource some tasks to others, eg administrative tasks and tax prep.

That does not make sense.  By definition, these people help the provider; they do not tell her what to do.

This all reminds me of a provider I met this fall. On date 1 she put me in the friend zone and that is never good when you are paying for sex. She talked me into a 2nd date with a deal but also by helping her with ter and all that. She was comfortable enough with me to tell me a few secrets.
She was brought into the business by another provider (who I knew and had seen a few times, but not very popular amongst us). Supposedly everything she did this other lady said too but whatever. Yah she would check in with her "friends" when you got there and left as other ladies do, no big deal. I guess she had 2 different people she would contact to let them know she was ok. I know many people that would do that for her. Then she told me how she pays them to look out for her. I am like "Um you know there are lots of people who would take your messages for free, right". She seemed confused by this and told me "Thats not how the business works". Then she told me about a few of her clients turned into friends with benefits (as in clients are seeing her for free?), why would you tell another client that, and she never liked I tried to get a 2nd pop from her because she thought I was there to be a friend for her. Lets just say I have not returned.

Pimp defination a man who controls prostitutes and arranges clients for them, taking part of their earnings in return. Yes your massage hoes are being pimped. Your traverling girls are being pimped. The independent girl supporting her baby daddy is being pimped. In reality they all are being pimped you just dont see. There may be a few independents but 100% of our hoes have been pimped at one time or another. Dont lie to yourself.

Glad we agree that pimping by definition implies control and that there are independent providers, i.e. not pimped.
But unless you have details on how every provider conducts her business, there’s no way you can know that all of them have been pimped at one time or another.  If you believe that, you’re the one lying to himself.

I would just like to put it out there that not all providers that have a scheduler work for someone else. I am fully independent, have my own studio, make my own hours, but I do have a scheduler that works for ME. So if anything, she actually works for me.

I just wanted to say that, in case you all thought that a scheduler is a clear tell sign of someone being pimped.
That’s also not to say that a lot of people really are working under someone else. That’s actually how I started out, and to be honest it was awful and I will never do it again. Independence or just not working as a provider.

You guys are hilarious. I love when men try to mansplane something they know nothing about. So many of you speak as if you know facts. There are plenty of independent providers who are successful and choose to hire someone who will work FOR them so that life can be a little easier and they don’t have to be on their phone 24/7. It’s like going to a salon and having a receptionist there. You’re telling me that the receptionist is running the show when it’s the hairstylist business? She owns the shop, she pays the receptionist, she can hire as fire her, but you mean to tell me that In this twisted scenario the receptionist is in charge? Plot twist.
Stop living in your weird twisted fantasy that makes us all look like victims. This goes out to all the guys who think they know it all but probably just watched too many episodes of CSI.

Thank you for your contribution!  I believe if more of the ladies would come back and be a presence on TER, we'd have a lot more productive conversations and a lot less drama.  I'm hoping you stick around!
