Looking for a alternate hobbying phone, want to keep my calls to providers off my cell phone line.

What are others doing?

Any advice on prepaid phones?

Can anyone point me to articles/past threads on the topic of a "hobby phone"?

I have a trac-phone. I maybe bought one too cheap as the clarity of sound isn't always the greatest.

I like the Virgin Mobile phones.  You just have to add minutes to them every 90 days.  Even the lower priced ones are good basic phones.

Get a tracfone that doubles your mintues.
