Have noticed some negative posts regarding screening as of late.

I actually prefer to see women who screen. Screening tells me they are thinking of the their own safety. That they are serious businesswomen. That they are willing to do the drudgery of running a business. I think it's always better to do business with someone you think is more likely to be responsible and level-headed. Being a paid member of a screening service such as TER, P411, or RS2K is not that burdensome, and opens up opportunities for contact with beautiful, mature, professional businesswomen. So I really don't see the down side to screening.

My point is there is a difference between screening and an interrogation. If you have been reading or listening to the news lately and what has been happening in the state of Rhode Island then you might understand.

I've got no problem with screening.  If a woman does not care about her own safety, how would it be reasonable to believe that she would be concerned about mine?  Not too many people are going to put a complete stranger's safety above their own.  It would seem kind of elementary.  None of the best that the hobby has to offer will see you without some level of screening anyways.  It's all a matter of what level you are going to participate on.

Screening is the only way to go.  The verification sites like p411 are really valuable in my opinion.  Best way to see the most service oriented, reliable and professional ladies.  Definitely worth the minor hassle to sign up.

Some providers ask for personal information that many guys, with good reason, are not comfortable giving out.  There is a big difference between that and asking for provider references or using a site such as P411.

Like most everything, it's all in the execution. Screening can be done well or poorly. I think the RI scenario is one done poorly. But there are good methods of execution as well. The ladies I have seen have not done anything so intrusive.

I agree with what others have said and would add the following caveat -- I'm more than happy to provide my P411, Date-Check, and TER white list info, but when they ask for real first and last name and place of employment . . . that's over the line.

I require reservations & a 50% deposit to book.  Safety 1st & being whitelisted on TER helps speed up the process for screening!

It's not worth the risk.  Best thing to do is contact one of the excellant verification services, get screened once, and then you are golden (in my book).

Yuh....WAAAAYYYY over the line(IMO). I simply will not provide personal data that can come back to 'bite' me.

While we're on the subject, I fail to understand the need for a provider to know what I'm driving. Ummm...If we've already 'screened' one-another, I'm not going to 'announce' myself by providing that info - there's so many reasons why that's not in the hobbyist's interest it's not funny.
Yet I come across that all the time.

I agree sometimes its too much. You don't need to give me your life story to schedule an appointment with me.
Just the basic refs or a P411 ID.

Not so much negative threads as negative comments on threads. I'm sure the RI idiocy has something to do with them. Just thought I'd put up a PSA to remind people of why it's important that we do this.

How embarrassing for the both of us! It's not to be intrusive, but I'd rather not see those I know if I can help it. Thank goodness for the men who are open to screening with a first and last name. You're the best!

an invaluable ONE AT THAT...I'd rather have another source of income and only see men in this "hobby" who are ok with my screening methods than those who are not. I'm not wanting for anything, especially money, so it's not a big deal to let those who aren't ok with my screening pass me up...keep on passing for all I'm concerned!! It all works out in the long run.

some of us ask for it when there is NO p411 date check ect.  i know a few girls like myself who see newbies and i dont keep the info just make sure they are not le or a rapist ect. my safety comes first
