D is new to this industy.  She's eXXXtremely attractive and a blast to be with.  

Her prices indicate, as you might guess, that she is interested in a few connected friends.  If you're looking for one lady you want to hang your arm on, D is probably one you should meet.

D and I have discussed market pricing.  I'd have to agree with her based upon her history that she isn't the typical 300-350 an hour lady.

This brings up an interesting topic.  There are quite a few kept ladies who never appear on the net.  Many start out dating men they've met at social events.  He slips $ in her purse when she's not looking....yadda yadda.  

We see all kinds of prices from 100 dollars-5K an hour.  Yes, TER isnt the usual route for a lady like D, but she thought it would be fun to see where this went.

There are MANY gentlemen in their 50's, 60's who prefer a lady over 30.  

Especially if they want to be seen with them as a date.  I respect your preferences.

This very well could be the wrong forum for D.  I doubt it though, I do very well and I'm certainly not your type.

But, i am a lil bit surprised that if she wanted to try it out on TER, then why is she not replying to the queries and clearing other's doubts, instead of you (Misty) replying for her. I agree that you might be good friends, but the horse's mouth is after all horse's mouth. Just an opinion.

I wish her well!!  But please don't price me out of the market.  I just got into the hobby and herd it was $ less a few years ago.  I'm a single guy making, at the most, ($$$) extra a month to spend, and would like to stay in the hobby.  I know, as you say, she may be unique based on her history, but I Just hope it doesn't give other providers fuel to up the anti.  Give us little guys a chance!

Well I am not in my 50's or 60's but my preference are ladies in there mid 30's.  The have more maturity and typically sessions I have had are better than a younger one. Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy a young tight hard body just like anyone else, but they usually have too much attitude and a bit pretensis.

Afterall, my #1 ATF is in her mid 30's. have not found anyone better and don't think I ever will.

It is nice that she wants to see where advertising on this site goes, and see what kind of fun it could be.  And there might be a few non-vocal guys who read this site, who would be willing to pay that kind of money, or are looking for a "kept" woman at those prices.

But honestly, if the market bears $$.5 to $$$ and the majority of the men are complaining about the few new providers and visitors who feel they are better than the standard local enough to charge $$$.5 to $$$$... what makes her think charging $$$$$ is going to get her ANY business?  Now if this is just a side thing for her, and her fashion modeling is paying all the bills... then she is just doing this for fun, and its all good.  If she can find one or two guys to pay that kind of money, then good...

But why do some providers feel that just because they see very few men, or are very selective, that they can get away with charging above the current market price?  Both the women you've introduced to us the last couple days are taking this attitude and charging $$$$ and $$$$$.  I guess I am at a loss.

I'd love to see either of them... but with my finances I can afford to see two women a month at $$.5 to $$$ each time.  Do I shell out $$$$$ for half the time?  Perhaps I'm not the kind of guy she's looking to provide for, but rather the men to which that kind of money is chump change.

Either case, I think this forum is the wrong place for her, and I think she's overestimating the amount she can reasonably charge above the going market value for this kind of service.  This isn't about whether she isn't worth the money.  This is a business.  Yes, it is selling companionship and passion, and as such emotions and feelings get involved.  But as a business, the consumer has a right to go to the best provider for the best price they can find, and it isn't about whether a woman is worth it or not.  Its about what they are willing to spend for the service given.  You don't see auto mechanics whining because a consumer is unwilling to pay them $75 an hour to fix their car.  Why?  They don't get hurt feelings like I don't think they are a good enough mechanic.  They have to meet the market value in the area in which they sell their services.  In this case, if the standard market value is $45 an hour to fix my car, then that other guy needs to come down, or probably go out of business.

While the escort business is not auto mechanics, it still is a business.  And I think it behooves the business person to meet market value, and not over-value their own worth in said market.

Again, it has nothing to do with whether I personally think a girl's escort skills are worth it to me or not.  But what the hell "extra" is she offering that makes it worth 2/3rds more than the standard for this market?  We already have girls that offer EVERYTHING for $$$.

Is there some history of harassment that I am unaware of?

Bottom line, expressing our feelings of gross overcharging compared to the current fair and standard market value for said services, is not harassment.  Now if I called her up every day and left threatening phone calls and demeaning emails in her box, that would be harassment.  And I can honestly say I'd never do that.  I'd just let my checkbook do the talking and not use services that so ridiculously outstrip the current market value.

I doubt she's going to change her mind.  Hey, I've tried LOL.  If she can't find a few (two) guys a week to see, maybe then.  

I don't care what she charges, it's her decision.  I've told her what I thought about prices.  I knew I'd get crap for this LOL

I think allot of this discussion has to do with the fear that everyone else will raise their prices.  Supply and demand always takes care of that.  

Hey, May's loaner car broke down and I got in an accident today LOL.  I can't wait for tomorrow.

You're right MDL.  I was assuming BTA was making a blanket statement that no women in her 30's is worth 500.  I would disagree with that statement.  

I'm using generalizations as to who prefers mature providers here in the twin cities.  There are many 40 year old men who like 30 year old ladies.  There are more 50-60 year old gentleman who prefer mature providers than there are 20 year olds.

I don't think it's a matter of these girls thinking they're better than anyone else.  It's their way of keeping the volume down.

As usual Misty is very clear in her post about her intent and the intent of her friend "D".  Her friend wants to be 'kept' by a few men who can afford to have a model on their arm.  As she wishes.

I am not surprised by the response that TER men gave to the price.  It does sound like Misty let her know what the response would be on TER before posting.  If I had the $$$$$s I would see "D".  Between the photos & Misty's endorsement that would be enough for me.

Thanks Misty.  If she gets what she is looking for, that's great for her.  I honestly do wish her all the luck.  But she priced herself way out of my range, and that may be exactly what she was trying to do--as you say keep the volume low.  Unfortunately that means that guys with my finances and mindset will never choose to afford her services.

C'est la vie.  It would have been nice to enjoy her company, but I think I'll live... grin.

It really doesn't matter, I just thought your statement outragous considering your lack of firsthand knowledge.  Twisted Brother aka: tcg made the same statement.  

She's not trying to compare herself to the others locally.  How can she, she hasn't met them LOL.

I REALLY don't want to get in the middle of this, so don't kill the messenger here, I'm just posting to clarify...  

I don't think Twisted meant was that HOBBYISTS were harrassing the provider about price.  Toledo Rocket had posted about the price reflecting supply and demand (It most certainly does NOT, but I digress).

I think what Twisted was implying was that supply is reduced, and thus upward price momentum maintained, by providers harrassing other providers...

Ladies in that 30's & up range seem to have the confidence & experience that comes with maturity. Many gentlemen appreciate a vintage wine or a well aged scotch & many of those 30+ ladies are in that category...it is a pleasure to savor their passionate pursuit of life & enjoy some truly fine company.

As for D...I suspect that she is a selective lady that wants to limit her exposure. I also suspect that their are nonvocal hobbists in the market that will find her very appealing. The marketplace will determine the merits of the lady...no use to get your shorts all bunched up over her.
