I still care how they look & am careful -or try to be- that the background isn't too busy or anything like that.
I strongly agree with basically everything LeAnn said....much better to be pleasantly surprised.....
Having never got professionals done in my life & seeing some girlfriends get "glamor shots" back in the day....
led me to start really wanting professionals done entirely for the experience.....(long b4 I entered hobbyland)
well then I joined this world & have admired the hundreds of Aldo photo's & I'm curious how many other gals feel like this about Aldo.....his emblem (watermark) is on the "creme de la creme" of high class gals so having him at this point would be the type of thrill that .........say........some Louis Vuitton would bring.
So then comes the debate I got into with a seasoned hobbyist about the downsides of Aldo, he was so adamant that I be aware of what some thought of Aldo he suggested that I search TER to find out what people think of him...well it turns out a lot of people think Aldo is synonymous with photo shop in so many peoples mind.
I hate that & of course being one to objectively think for myself I know that the amount of photo shopping is dependent on what the gal requests.......& actually the hobbyist friend if mine knows that too, he just wanted me to be aware....so I think this is a really good topic & I'm glad to give my thoughts on it.
I may still try to book with Aldo when he's in town-but I will always be one for selfies,
as I feel they are more true to life. =)

... do the "she's much prettier/more beautiful/even sexier in person" comments in your reviews bother you? Is Aldo really the only person offering discreet, sensual photos professional marketing in this hobby? Does cost drive the decision to keep most ad images bathroom selfies — or is it modesty?
I used to shoot for a living — and the answer I got the only time I inquired was "I hate photos of myself." I'm not looking to drum up business (I have the camera/lenses/etc — but do not have a studio), I'm just generally curious.
Not to put too fine a point on this — but from what I've seen, those who take time and care with their professional marketing materials — especially the images — tend to be more in demand, which places a higher value on their time. Gentlemen — feel free to chime in here, too.
