Explain why. This is not a contest or a request for extra shills or minireviews. But it would be fun to hear the explanations and it may improve the quality of personal websites.
In your opinion, and to those who chime in, what do y'all think makes a great website? What do you want to see, read, etc.? Do you want bigger font? Neutral colors? More pictures? Better flow?
But an even better question that I think many want an answer to: what would entice folks to actually READ what is on the website? LJ, xox
"Best" is too difficult to answer since I haven't seen a majority of them. However some stand out. And yes to me it is the pictures mostly. So it has a lot to do with winning the DNA lottery. I like Miasutra's web site because it has nice pictures in nice poses with a nice subject. Also huge bonus points for including a face. I understand the reasons for not posting face shots, but can't deny the appeal of face shots.
I can't think of or don't want to mention specific examples, but I would keep rants of any kind out of a website. Everyone likes a pleasant person. So that should be the sole image portrayed in any text.
That's completely understandable. I just checked out Mia's website and I see what you like! It's gorgeous - very crisp, and easy to grasp. The layout is well done too.
You are correct, not all of us can post face shots and have to blur minimally or a lot for privacy. However, when a provider can show their face, it totally ads to the whole experience.

I like my Tumblr blog. It's not super fancy and I still plan on improving content but I love the simplicity of tumblr. Anyone can post anonymous questions for me to reply to - I really enjoy the feedback.
I've used it for a few years now - I've made multiple personal blogs. Usually adult content/erotica.
Likes: Keep it simple Make it easy to find the basic information, such as rates, pictures, review links, contact methods etc,
Dislikes: Anything that automatically starts playing audio or video A home page which tells me nothing useful; it's just a page I have to click through to get to the useful info Any page that opens an unwanted popup.
... I appreciate it when providers have their up-to-date calendars on their web site, or if not there at least on P411. If they'll be out of pocket for awhile, a prominent note to that effect on the home page is also appreciated (in addition to an OOO notification on email).
And for photos, no-fee photos that accurately reflect the provider's current appearance, please. And please ensure the site works with PCs, Macs, and mobile devices such as iOS and Android. I frequently see sites that don't work well on mobile devices.
Really? I thought it was a given to have a page dedicated to rates. That's rather odd.
As a provider, something I cannot stand is when there are banners upon banners upon banners on the first page. If we are going to exchange banners, or information, or become duo partners, then have a separate page for that. Otherwise it just looks messy.
...encourage me to read? A little bait, a click, and then something substantial, and titillating. Good writing is not essential if there is an interesting erotic mind at work. But visuals are king and queen. I am enjoying looking at your beautiful bottom, and imagining things that would make you catch your breath.
