Just go on priceline and bid. Sometimes you can get a 3 1/2 - 4 star hotel for $50-$60 bucks, depending on the day and location. Bidding early in the morning will yield the best results too
when I lived there while going to school it was so funny seeing gents sniffing panties behind their newspapers.
