I notice today there are 40 listings on the minnesota section of Eros.  I remember the day when it was up as high as 120+ ...that's quite a drop off.  I know the economy is down, but it's not down 66%.  What do you think? Is this a reflection of fewer ladies working or just fewer ladies using this site?  I think I heard from one provider it was somethin' like $120/mo to adv there.

Just curious what others think... especially the ladies... why do u use it or not use it?

Eros is better than backpages for reliability, but you are still taking a chance on unreviewed ladies.  I've seen some ads for the same person with several name changes for more than 5 years and no good reviews.  Do you know what rob stands for?  These ladies are eye candy for sure, but you can go to a strip joint for that and spend less.  Those ladies make this site(TER) what it is.

So I believe that is a big part of it.

The one area that I really see that they were down (or up - erect) is that there is only 7 Shemales on the MN site, man back in the day there would be at 15 - 20?

Men get screwed on Eros they were charing 120/mo for a lady but if you had two testicles it was 70/mo per testicle or in my case 210.00; as I am a three eye Jack? Just not right man!!So I got out of that business and as most of you know  from previous weeks in review went into the Gigolo business. Too many high milers to please!

The first month I advertised was a good month for me and well worth the money.  Then every month after I got tons of calls one, two, three times a day from well known LE numbers.  

It got to where I didn't want to answer my phone anymore.

So, I pulled my ad and viola! the calls stopped.  At least the heavy volume of calls.  I think they just plunk down in front of the computer and log into Eros and call every MN eros lady, asking for last minute outcall appointments, not having references, telling you they saw your ad on CL or some such place you know is a lie cause you don't advertise there.

When you don't bite, they call back an hour later with an accent, or offering more money if you'll by pass the references.  

Then they'll call back from a different number using the exact same script.  

Don't know if it's just in MN?  Or if it's just for these few months?  Or what's going on, but they did their job and got me off there.

we have a real problem on our hands in minnesota,when I travel to other parts of the country the number of posted ads on eros has stayed about the same in most cities for the past 5 years.eros is not the problem,touring girls just do not visit here like they once did and its not winter weather,check out milwaukee they have 8 visiting when we have 4,our population and average income is much greater and for the last year they average many more touring girls. I also remember the days of 126 ads on eros and I want them back!

Of the sites I look at, the only one that has a lot of ads is Backpages.  Of course, how reliable those ads are is another question entirely but it seems to be the place to advertise these days.

I'd have to say it's the cost of it.  I've heard the first month is crazy business and after that (to get the same exposure on their site; featured ad's ect) is more like 200+ per month.

For a lot of gals that are doing this as their only sorce of income, I've heard it's all they can do to pay their mortgages, etc, let alone throwing 200+ at a "maybe".  It's a good "maybe" I'd think, but it's still a maybe.  

In any scenario, I've got mine on there right now but the provider who commented on an alias to this about LE calling her makes me mildly jumpy...such is life so we shall see!
